Goudelock. Yes, I still have hope for det kid
Blake and Duhon are atrocious.
Still vigorously masturbating over our revamped roster
Starters:
Steve Nash
Kobe Bryant
Metta World Peace
Pau Gasol
Dwight Howard
Bench:
Chris Duhon
Jodie Meeks
Antawn Jamison
Earl Clark
Jordan Hill
Steve Blake
Devin Ebanks
On paper, there's only 2 real questions about this team (barring injuries):
1. Will one of our b/u PG's (Duhon/Blake/Morris) be effective enough?
2. Can Earl Clark provide us depth at the 4?
Lakerfans, who do you see winning the b/u PG role?
Goudelock. Yes, I still have hope for det kid
Blake and Duhon are atrocious.
Is Duhon off the wagon again? If not he should make it over Blake--I just want him gone. It'd be nice of Morris stepped up, but I'm not holding my breath for that either. I doubt Glock makes the playoff roster.
2nd round ceiling right now... we'll see once Dwight comes back if the projection needs to go up or down, tbh...
Yeah I agree with you, I just want Blake off this roster. Too many white guys
lol ElTrollo![]()
Spurs Regular Season championship ceiling ... can't move up or down until the end of May tbh ... heck a 2-0 lead is not enough to nail that down ...
Regular season 3peat would be overachieving, tbh...
If Matt Barnes isn't on the Lakers then I might actually root for them over Miami in the Finals.
Steve Blake’s Role with the Lakers in the Upcoming Season
Despite these less than impressive numbers, Blake has seemed to gain a trusting relationship with Laker management, Kobe Bryant and Mike Brown. Last season, Brown seemed to have no hesitation in putting Blake on the court to close games over former Lakers Derek Fisher and Ramon Sessions, even in crucial parts of the game. Jim Buss reiterated his support of Blake recently during the NBA Summer League when he publicly stated that he believes Blake will finally have a “breakout” year in the upcoming season.

Go Lakers
Thought Barnes had a good regular season...Lots of hustle off the bench...No so much in the play-offs...
incredible starting lineup no doubt, but ugh, that is one ugly bench
Who's replacing Matt Barnes? Earl Clark? I ask because putting Jamison at the 3 would be a bad idea.
Devin Ebanks.
its nothing bad to have optimism but don't take it to a stupid extent tbh. DH is likely to sit out at the beginning of the season and even when he's back, no one guarantees you the ass who's just recovered from back injury will be the same beast he used to be tbh. OKC and spurs ain't easy matchups for them fakers in the west and even if they manage to wriggle out of the west, they're only gonna get their asses kicked by heat in the finals
Not nearly as powerful as the 2004 lineup with 4 HOFers and a HOF coach, that lost to a team the Spurs beat.
SF position is average at best on this team.
there keeping MWP though, they don't want him signed by any other team. when he was playing as a rocket in 09 he took them lakers to a 7 game series in the 2nd round that year almost single handedly IRRC
