Getting 200+ minis for $100 is a pretty decent bargain. Heck, even if you had no interest, you could probably pledge $100, get all the minis, and then sell them on ebay and make your money back and then some.

what is this? is this like those role playing card games, but with figures?
Kinda. Some people play actual games with miniatures (see Warhammer) and some just use them in games (D&D). And some just collect them. But it's getting to the point where they've hit so many stretch goals, that the $100 package is pretty ridiculously undercosted. I'm picking one up, keeping whatever figures look interesting, and selling the rest on ebay.
This project is breaking Kickstarter.....3rd most funded project of all time on there.
