Pathetic.
Give it a rest, Roger. 87mph? Back to the Future??

HOUSTON -- Roger Clemens has signed with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League and is expected to start for them on Saturday at home against Bridgeport (Conn.).
The 50-year-old right-hander was acquitted in June of charges he lied to Congress when he denied using performance-enhancing drugs.
Clemens hasn't played for a team since pitching for the Yankees in 2007. He is to appear on the Hall of Fame ballot going to voters late this year, but if he appeared in a major league game his Hall consideration would be pushed back five years.
Clemens' agent, Randy Hendricks, says the pitcher's "fastball was clocked at 87 mph." He added that Clemens and Skeeters manager Gary Gaetti have been talking about this "for months."
The signing was first reported by Houston television station KRIV.
He's throwing in the 80s, and thinks he'll be back in MLB in September when the rosters expand. September THIS year.
If I were in that league, I'd take his ass yard and walk/trot the bases, taking about 2 minutes and totally showing up his ancient ass. He needs to be shown that he's DONE.
Read an article today claiming that the only reason he was doing this was so that he could push back his first opportunity to be on the HOF ballot...basically to give him a better chance to get in
Lame. He's still not getting in first ballot, ever. All he's doing is cutting the number of years he'll be considered.
sons he should be allowed into the Hall of Fame regardless just like any other speculated steroid abusers like Bonds and others. it would be like punishing players from being in the hall of game way back in the day whenever it was nothing but white players. they had more of an advantage than anyone on steroids because they didn't have to play against Latino and black players.
steroids aren't going to teach you how to pitch or how to hit a curve ball.
first 3 up, first 3 down
He's supposedly getting a meaningless September start for the equally meaningless Astros. I hope the fans boo him off the mound when real hitters rock him like a hurricane.
No, but they'll keep your fastball at 97 when it naturally would have aged down to the low 90s. Roids probably kept his fat ass in the league an extra 8-9 years, piling up stats and wins he never should have ac ulated.
there are pitchers in the show that pitch always in the 80's
it is called pitching and hitting your spots
1. How many of said pitchers are 50 or older?
2. Who said his pitches are always in the 80s?
Proud of you, ducks, that post was basically coherent.
Yes, and they've done it their whole careers, throwing balls in the dirt and painting the black. That's not Clemens.
