Not putting the phone down, just surprised thatyou went from one extreme to the other for less than the best.
the htc one is the best htc phone, don't need a galaxy for a good android experience, and the specs are almost the same

He's referring to why he got the HTC One S (good) as opposed to the HTC One X (flagship).

    I love it

I like the flexibility it offers; I know a lot of people like to root for for further tweaking (well it's not the only reason I guess), but out of the box Android offers me enough customization.
So, although I like the Sense interface, sometimes I switch to Apex/Jelly Bean for a change.

I also like the seamless integration of apps, and the contact management (the contact app can automatically merge a contact with one of your Facebook/Skype's buddies)

And of course, no more iTunes, easy to transfer files from the computer... heck I even have an app to download mp3 files straight to my phone

    Yeah, it's the

I'm in front of my comp all day working anyway so I never d/l on my phone, outside of a few iTunes purchases. I buy comedy albums if I buy anything, like Stanhope's new one.

To be fair, until ICS, I am not sure his experience would have been the same. I liked GB, but that is because I didn't mind customizing it through flashing and rooting. I think that for him it was going to require the better out of the box experience that ICS delivers. Matias duarte from webos made some savvy design changes.
