Knowing he has a one year deal and he really is at the end of his career I think we'll see him at his best. He's still as good as most teams second receiver.

No, he's lost his quickness and agility- he's an above average slot reciever at best.

Signing T.O. and Braylon Edwards to help out 3 young and inexperienced QBs is destined to succeed.

Can't wait now for the inevitable string of bad decisions he'll make; CFL tryouts, More reality shows, infomercials, bankruptcy, and then hopefully a painful death of some sort

    good riddance TO

Don't know the NFL do you? Did we not see him behind defenders? I still think he could have produced. Don't be so sure he's done either.

Steve Largent was cut by the Houston Oilers.
Don Maynard was cut by the NY Giants.
Johnny Unitas was cut by the Pittsburg Steelers.

All in the Hall of Fame

The Niners passed over Aaron Rodgers for Alex Smith.
Buddy Ryan let Chris Carter go.
The Raiders let Marcus Allen go.
The Niners let Brandon Lloyd go.
After 11 years the Rams let Henry Ellard go. The following season as a Redskin he had his second best season.
How many teams let James Harrison go?
The Colts let Ted Hendricks go, as a Raider he ended up in the Hall of Fame.
The Ravens let Priest Holmes go, he is the Chiefs all time leading rusher.
The Broncos actually thinking Tim Tebow was an NFL QB
    Heath Schuler?
    JaMarcus Russell?'
    Ryan Leaf?

Point being these coachs/powers that be blow it all the time. Darren Sproles was too small... Jerry Rice didn't have elite speed...

    Kurt Warner?

    Who drafted Arian Foster?

    Tony Manarich?

Don Maynard was cut by the NY Giants (at 23 years old)
Johnny Unitas was cut by the Pittsburg Steelers (at 22 years old)
Terrible comparison..... TO is 38 years old and CLEARLY washed up, those guys still had plenty of time to get better....

Well I would have drafted Aaron Rodgers over Alex Smith. I also wouldn't have even signed a 38 year old receiver. I wouldn't talk Superbowls like Rex Ryan was doing. I also wouldn't have brought in Tim Tebow either. Who needs that distraction? I wouldn't have let Brandon Lloyd, or Julian Peterson.

Point being these coachs/brass up all the time. Miami signing Chad Johnson???? The Niners bringing in an O.J.Simpson who could no longerr out run D linemen...????

Bottom Line is knowing more about things than the Seattle Seahawks or any of these teams is not all that hard.

Owens was getting behind people, he also did make a good catch. Cat was rusty.

Once again I have to explain the obvious

As far as those teams who let those future Hall of Famers go was that they "knew" they weren't going to make it. So they were wrong.....that...is the point, these teams can be wrong and we've seen it all the time. We just saw another display of that with the release of TO.

Owens is a physical fitness freak, cat is in better shape than any receiver in the league. He still has the speed/quicks. Catching the ball was going to happen.

    God you're long winded.

So for the record, according to you, the Seahawks shouldn't have brought T.O. in, and then they made a mistake for releasing him.

    That makes perfect sense.

    You're an idiot.

Are you really as re ed as you act?

    I'll go real slow....

If you are dumb enought to sign a 38 year old player then you have to realize it will take awhile to shake the rust. TO has proven himself, this isn't some rookie where it's..???....so give him a little time to get it together. To expect him to step right in as if he hadn't been out of football for awhile is not realistic.

Let me guess, you don't get it do you?

You don't sign guys that old, but if you do then have some patience. Even you can understand that.....nay!!!!!!!!
