the continuity as between Bush and Obama is more or less repugnant to me, so I would say that in this case, it's a bad thing.
yes it sucks, and we shouldnt have been in this position to began with. radical transition in policy is what drove us here in the first place, though.
maybe the best "change" is "slow and easy wins the race."
unfortunately, it will take another decade to fully assess if that is true, due to its very own nature.
Obama promised to roll it back, then normalized it. what was radical a few years back is merely customary now. I blame no one but Obama for that.
