I'm eagerly anticipating this man's (hopefully) gruesome, slow, death
like the gruesome, slow, death of the cowboys?
Which he caused. The Herschel Walker trade is essentially the NFL's equivalent of making a deal with the devil, three instant Super Bowls and likely 20+ years of pain and suffering.
Jerry Jones will be forever remembered as the man who stabbed Tom Landry in the back. He will never be forgiven, and anything short of a Superbowl will be unacceptable while he's the General Manager.
Guarantee you Patrick Ewing theory applies to this man and Dallas wins the SB the year after he dies.
BREAKING NEWS: Jerry Jones finds all seven dragon balls and wishes for immortality.
The Patrick Ewing theory generally applies to coaches/players/GMs/whatever who were overrated and thought to be major assets to the team when in fact the team played better without them. It's pretty much a consensus among people who aren't "I can count to potato re ed" that Jerry Jones is a horrible general manager who s the Cowboys over by thinking he should be making football decisions and who's presence makes it so the only people who can coach the Cowboys are beta males. The Cowboys getting better after he dies wouldn't really be the Ewing theory at all.
More like CONTRADICTIONownsDOK right
So Jerry trading Herschel Walker for 3 Super Bowls and Dallas not winning another one until he dies doesn't fit the bill?
That was like 20 years ago. Right now, it's a consensus among non-re ed people he does a lot more harm than good for the Cowboys.
And no, what you just described is not the Ewing theory at all.
