Bill will get slammed in a way that will make him a believer.
It's best to take the Confucius way of thinking on things like this. He believed that anything revolving religion and the beyond surpasses our human intelligence. There's no point in arguing about it. It was best to discuss your present life at hand.
Bill will get slammed in a way that will make him a believer.
believing aliens created humans
Believing in the big bang.
thinking that your explanation makes more sense.
Thinking you make sense.
I'd make more sense if you didn't drop out of middle school, you stupid bum.
I don't care if anyone gives a or doesn't give a that I don't give a . You think I care. To quote Tommy Lee Jones from The Fugitive "I DON'T CARE".
if you tried your hand at stand-up, they would crucify you
Has anyone ever entered one of these...evolution vs creation...threads (been here as long as the internet as been here) believing one thing then leaving believing something else?
Clearly you don't care
Those Jews were so far ahead of their time.
The majority of the average folk in the US are ignorant s. Shocker. You only need look here where at least the ignorant s know how to use a PC to see that even those kind still cannot ween themselves from the god teat in fear of "what if I'm wrong?". It's not that they don't understand science, they just don't have any trust in their perception of reality. They are sheep who desperately need to be led by someone who feigns a more steadfast trust in whatever they claim to believe in, be it science or religion. Who gives a what Nye says? I am an atheist and I rely heavily on science but who gives a what a popular TV engineer thinks? Is he now the secretary of science? Might as well ask the Dirty Jobs guy about pig and publish his thoughts to the manure farmers around the world.
Let the ignorant worship whatever they want, just as long as I don't have to interact with the idiots.
If your belief is caused by discussion, I am not sure I would give a what you believe.
Believing anyone who says they have the answer and proceeding with "it's beyond our intelligence" puts you right there with the other sheep.
The cop out of the mentally lazy or just genetically challenged mind is to claim "well it don't matter because no one knows".
When you catch up on what is already known, then maybe you will begin to understand that "beyond our ability to understand" is the tribal ignorance that keeps the wolf of reality at bay and allows the fearful among us to sleep at night. You certainly don't want to question the unknown.
A 2010 survey conducted by Auspoll and the Australian Academy of Science found that 79% of Australians believe in evolution (71% believe it is currently occurring, 8% believe in evolution but do not think it is currently occurring), 11% were not sure and 10% stated they do not believe in evolution.According to a 2007 Gallup poll, about 43% of Americans believe that "God created human beings pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so." This is only slightly less than the 46% reported in a 2006 Gallup poll. Only 14% believed that "human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God had no part in this process", despite 49% of respondents indicating they believed in evolution.I'll just say that I am glad I live where I live. I'll leave that up to you to interpret.A 1997 study found that fewer than 20% of Americans possessed basic scientific literacy and a People for the American Way poll found that less than half (48%) of those polled chose the correct definition of evolution from a list.[138] In 2006, New Scientist reported that almost 2/3 of Americans believe they share less than half their genes with "monkeys", when in fact the figure is between 95–99% depending on the primate and comparison method.
I prefer the US. There's a greater opportunity sheer sheep here.
The American education system is embarrassing
Ok have fun pondering, fighting, and arguing over something you'll never have all the facts and answers to. Good luck on that Nobel prize Mr. Shepherd.
tbh New Zealand is best for that. there's more sheep than people there.
