yeah i just never really found this subject very funny, it reminds me that there is something terribly wrong with this society who routinely does this to infants. if more people were exposed to information this practice would have died out 70 years ago like it did in europe.

I agree with that. I'm just saying that the oath is probably the least of his concerns.

Well yeah. I was using their oath as a device to show most doctors really do care about their patients (especially Peds docs). They would never knowingly harm an infant. Just because Skin International has penis issues, doesn't mean an entire profession is on the take.

I guess people have different experiences. We write medical software and you see all kind of doctors and practices. The ones that move bulk patients like cattle, and the guy that takes his time with them. On a personal experience level, I've had doctors that listened and helped tremendously when my wife lost her insurance and we had to pay out of pocket, and other doctors that wouldn't refill a prescription if you didn't show up and pay for an office visit. So YMMV.

Fair enough. I've had my fair share of doctors being idiots. Even the worst were acting in my best interest though, no matter how misguided they may have been.
