A bunch of friends spotted him racing a Nissan Skyline GTR this Wednesday at SAR in Marion Texas. He was running low 11 second 1/4 mile times.
That's dangerous! How could he jeopardize his career and the Spurs championship hopes like that!? We're not paying him good money so that he can have a life outside of basketball! He should be sequestered in a padded room wearing a bubble-wrap suit, not bombing down the raceways in a road rocket! smh Tim!![]()
Maybe I shouldn't have posted this. Didn't think it was a big deal. Being at the track is very safe.
Turing 11's in a GTR is child's play. Set launch control; put the hammer down.
Driving to the practice facility down Bab is more dangerous, tbh.
What's the point of buying a fast car and not getting to drive it fast. I think its cool that he's responsible enough to do it at the track in a very controlled environment. I'm not 100% sure he was driving because I didn't witness it firsthand so take this with a grain of salt.
maybe he should sell me his porsche...
I wonder why he wasnt driving this bad boy instead:
For those who are unawares....the blue font denotes sarcasm.

In other words, Bonner should be the one drag racing?
Bonner should be drag racing his Grand Prix straight into the Riverwalk.
Ok, that's a bit harsh...but goddamn, I am sick of seeing him in a Spurs uniform.
So we should take up a Turbo Corvair fund for Bonner.
From what I know of these are the vehicles he owns
2008 Hennessey Dodge Challenger HPE600 SuperCharged
2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty
2011 Mercedes Benz S63 AMG
2010 Nissan GT-R
2005 Porsche Carrera GT
1999 Ferrari 360 Modena
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Hard Top (502 Crate Motor)
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertable

Don't blame him at all to be honest. You may raise an eyebrow if you're not a racer, but if you've got petroleum in your blood it's hard to resist. At least he is doing it in a controlled environment and not burning rubber through the streets of San Antonio.
Wow, nice list there! I love cars man. I'd love to take that GT-R out for a scud. Can't beat forced induction mate. Sod all this American muscle, give me Jap crap anyday. LOL... I'm just kidding. A big N/A engine is nice for the instant acceleration, but I always think a turbocharged car "feels" faster to drive regardless of whether or not it is. As an example, we have the following in our household:
Wife:
MK1 Audi TT
3.2L V6 NA
250BHP
6 Speed Manual
4WD (Not permanent)
Me:
Mazda 6 MPS (MazdaSpeed I think in the U.S)
2.3L 4 cylinder DISI Turbo
256BHP
6 Speed Manual
4WD (Not permanent)
Although on paper the cars are similiar in performance the Mazda feels a lot quicker when you're driving it. Plus the TT handles like a bag of sh1t! Understeer, understeer....
The wife thinks her car is quicker, so I'm trying to talk her into having it out on the track, lol. I know I'll smoke her through the bends, but I think the TT might have a bit more grunt through 3rd and 4th gear. Having said that, I'll definitely be able to get on the power earlier coming out of the corners. Oooh, it's exciting.
Then a mate of mine will come along in his Nissan 350Z and destroy me![]()
Tim has to go fast at some point in his life.
Do those guys even know they're talking with a hall of famer
Tim was in Vegas last weekend. You can even see some whites in his beard.
At the local cinema

Damn Timmy's wife has a fine ass body.
one of the best exterior design cars that i marvel at....same with the audi r8...amazing how these supercars makers spend so much detail on the exterior but cut corners with the interior with low quality materials that u can get in ur daily car...
My dad had a 2009 GTR. One of the reasons he got rid of it.
Dont mock the Japs,my brother has owned a shed load of fast cars over the years(Lambos,BMW M's,Vypers,Ferrari's even a damn AMG wagon that pumped out over 500 horses LOL,that thing scared the outta me tbh)
His favorite car to drive on a regular basis...his slightly boosted everyman EVO 8(450hp) he swears its the ultimate driving machine as far as feel and connected-ness goes
