Dude, I could give you a ton of examples of the system not working. Who drafted Arian Foster? What round was Terrell Owens drafted in? What happened to Heath Schuler? Ever hear of Tony Mandarich?I love when people make this argument. They point out a historically bad top 2 pick and a historically good 3rd round pick in an effort to make the argument that draft position doesn't matter.

If player A was drafted 1st overall and player B was drafted in the 3rd round, there's a perfectly logical reason to think player A will be much better than player B.

In Russell Wilson we have a guy who left school with a 4.0 grade average, he was a scholar athlete. He can run, he has a strong arm, he is smart. Where's a negative, oh teah he isn't 6-4. Well neither is Drew Brees.

Clincally re ed is not knowing QB's only 5-11 get no respect from the NFL. There's your answer.
So you really aren't aware of the fact that we have seen tons and tons and tons and tons of lower round picks outshine first rounders.

The kid is very smart, he's mobile, he has a great arm and can make all the throws. If he had been 6-3 he would have been a first round choice.
The NFL has these silly perimeters and need everyone to fit inside them. Russell is too short to bea stud NFL QB, just like Jerry Rice was too slow, Darren Sproles too small. To much is put into 40 times, bench press, jumping, size. That's not football.
Lol if you don't think being shorter than all of your linemen is a huge disadvantage then you never played the position.
