romo breaks hand in 1st quarter.
The Giants will be without corner Prince Amukamara, DT Marvin Austin, and OT James Brewer while the Cowboys will be without Jay Ratliff and probably Jason Witten. The following for the Giants are questionable:
OT Will Beatty (back)
LB Michael Boley (hamstring)
CB Jayron Hosley (toe)
LB Mathias Kiwanuka (groin)
WR Hakeem Nicks (foot)
RB Da'Rel Scott (knee)
DE Adrian Tracy (hamstring)
Despite all of these injuries, the Giants have a deep roster and will keep on rolling. I expect Elite Manning to have a monster game. The Giants pass rush will do what they do best...get to the QB early and often. The defending champs win this game in a route 34-13.
Great D-Line vs horrifically and comically bad O-Line. Giants win by more than a touchdown.
Sup Daunte? Is anyone gonna be throwing any keggers for the game, I wanna get trashed![]()
Hosley has been a pleasant surprise, so hopefully he suits up. Nicks and Kiwanuka will play for sure. Despite all the numerous advantages NYG has, something tells me the Cowboys will play way above their heads, only to lose in heartrending fashion--most likely aided by a Romo mistake
Those days are over for the Cowboys tbh. The reason that happened is because they had enough talent to compete but were completely undisciplined. Now they don't have the talent.
It's a just a swing of the pendulum imo...they're improved and more talented on defense than in past years. Ratliff, Ware, Lee, Mo, and Carr are a great nucleus on D, imo.
On offense, they lost Robinson, Bennett (both good depth), Austin is perpeually banged up, Witten is injured, and Bryant can't stay out of trouble. Their o-line--like you said--is a joke. They've improved on one side of the ball, only to drop off on the other.
They'll still compete and lose games in comic fashion
But now they have a stud running back in murray, instead of the previous trash.
theres no doubt talent on both sides jerry and his red headed stepchild need to get their heads out their asses.
Running game is all but immaterial in today's game.
Cowboys will suck. I know they have improved on paper defensively, but we will see. Let's see if that gimmick-filled defense can do anything.

I hope you're right and not just defensively pessimistic.
Maybe not a flag-waving one, but if you had to have a team it'd be them...with a side of Philip Rivers
While that is very true, it's still something positive...but in the big scheme of things, no ing way is that gonna win you the chip alone.
The Giants will probably win tomorrow, I expect a minimum of 8 sacks on Romo.
IFFFFFFFFFFFFF the Cowboys can put some points on the board, it'll make for an interesting game.
oh, and i'll prolly get uber trashed tomorrow in like the first time in many moons. dont be surprised, if the boys lose,to see a plethora of posts out of inebriation.
The Giants have owned the Cowboys at home for awhile now. 5-1 last six vs the spread, 6 -2 at home vs the speard the last 8 or a 11-3 trend favoring the Giants. There is no logical reason to back the Cowboys in this "spot". So I won't. Giants win it!
Who leads the G-men in sacks tomorrow?...det, is the question
5-1 in last 6, and that one loss was at home vs. Jon Kitna...go figure
Their offense seems like a much bigger issue imo especially given the health/legal issues of their receivers.
For sure - we already said that, I was just commenting on their "improved" defense. Definitely on paper looks better, but still want to see what they can do in man coverage.
I think Rob Ryan did a pretty good job last year and a lot of the players will be better after a full year in his system. It totally depends on how Carr and Claiborne play tbh.
