That is obviously not this ST 14 team league, correct?
I have my final draft tonight. 10-teamer, non PPR.
My first two leagues:
10 team, non PPR, 3 point passing TD's, 6 point others:
QB: Rivers, Cutler
RB: McFadden, Forte, Ryan Matthews, Donald Brown, CJ Spiller & David Wilson
WR/TE: Miles Austin, Percy Harvin, DeSean Jackson, Greg Olsen, Greg Little
K: Janikowski
DEF: Buffalo
In hindsight not thrilled with it, but it's solid. Reached on Rivers too early could have gotten another WR in RD 4 vs getting Rivers there and my team would look much better. But not bad. This league has 3 WR/TE flex spots starting and a WR/TE/RB Flex in add to QB/RB/RB/K/DEF.
Second league is standard scoring, PPR, 12 teams:
QB: Vick, Palmer
RB: Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, Fred Jackson, Donald Brown, Stevan Ridley, Alfred Morris
WR/TE: Hakim Nicks, Vincent Jackson, Jermichael Finley, us Young, Randy Moss, Bennett
K: Janikowski
DEF: Giants
For a 12 team league, I like this team a lot. My first PPR league, so we will see how I do, but I need Vick to stay healthy to have a chance. Plan on starting 3 RB's (2 RB spots plus a RB Flex), then there is a QB, WR, WR, TE, DEF, K

If this is the 14 team league, you killed it. Vick is a risk, but high upside. 2 stud RB's (injuries happen to everyone, can't always plan on it). Very solid number 1 WR & number 2 has a big year IMO. TE is more than capable, but not spectacular, def and K is very good. Flex is solid as well, even if he can't repeat last years performance. Overall, this is pretty easily the best team I've seen in the league so far.
Luckily I got Wesley in this league.
I have at least 3 injured players that would be starting, the backup rb i drafted is even in doubt
I guarantee you I'll beat his team in Week 1.
u piggly? let's do a trade, nucca
not piggly
then who is you tbh
The only one left who ie unknown with3 injured draftees
Post your team, ninja.
Also, best team doesn't mean they can't lose any given week. It's about match ups and all that jazz.
Btw, just did my final 10 team, standard position/scoring draft and absloutely killed it IMO. Only wrinkle in this league is QBs are pretty damn valuable because the bonuses for throwing yards are huge:
QB: Rivers
RB: Arian Foster, Ryan Matthews, MJD, David Wilson, Ben Tate, Michael Bush
WR: Greg Jennings, Hakim Nicks, Vincent Jackson, Torey Smith
TE: Aaron Hernandez, Greg Olsen
K: Matt Prater
DEF: Buffalo
Thoughts on that, DD or others?
hot damn, son! Your starting RB's are all dual threats--damn shame you dont play PPR or else that roster would be even nastier than it already is. I'm hoping for big things out of David Wilson this season too, as I drafted him in my ESPN league
All 10 people better "absolutely kill it" on draft day unless one of them is actually re ed, not re ed in the Spurstalk "nobody likes you" kind of way.
btw, here is my main league (PPR, haevy bonuses for passing/receiving)...lemme know what you think...I neglected QB and RB for the longest time in the draft, and that may come back to bite me in the ass...drafted 11th out of 12:
QB - Michael Vick
RB - Cedric Benson
RB - Pierre Thomas
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Hakeem Nicks
Flex - Brandon Marshall
TE - Antonio Gates
D/ST - 49ers
IDP - Brian Cushing
K - Robbie Gould
BN - David Wilson
BN - Ramses Barden
BN - Ben Roethlisberger
BN - Justin Blackmon
BN - Mikel Leshoure
BN - Fred Davis
BN - Rashard Mendenhall
BN - Jermaine Gresham
BN - Sam Bradford
10 team isn't guaranteed you "kill it". It's enough teams to make things a little rough. 14 is ridiculous, 12 is probably just right. Even though there are a lot of good teams in 10 team leagues, I still think mine (if things work out well from a health perspective) is pretty damn ridiculous.
Also, debating on who the odd man out should be out of my 3 RB's this week:
Pierre Thomas: Redskins
Cedric Benson: 49ers
David Wilson: Cowboys
It's ok IMO. I am not a fan of ignoring RB's early. There is so much WR depth compared to RB (at least on paper) that getting strong RB's gives you more of a valuable commodity. Your WR/TE is stacked (especially if Marshall actually has a good year, but I am a little unsure of that) & if Vick stays healthy obviously that is huge. But your RB's are really weak - hopefully Mendy or Wilson really step up.
I'm putting a lot on Benson...if need be I'm ridiculously stacked at TE/WR that I can ship some out for good RB(s)
DPG delivering bundles of crafty veteran advice in just his second year.
Damn straight - I play fantasy sports, just not football before last year. Same strategies all around - If you can get more of something valuble that is scarce than the next guy, you have a good shot at winning (barring major injury).
Blake, do you like the team you drafted? Not just saying this because it's you, but it's the worst one I have seen posted. Wondering your thoughts on your team.
Solid 14-team league team, RB. I think your WR's could bust this year, but they defintiely have pedigree. Overall, decent team for that big of a league, just need some guys to stay healthy and perform to their normal levels (Bowe, Johnson, Jackson).
Other than Brady, my starters are under whelming and my bench blows. I've got TO on my team for s sake.
But that's par for the course with the auto draft.
Ahhh, makes sense.
Whomever is PasswordisTaco also has a great team. From what I can see, assuming health. Taco and Don't Stop have the best two teams.
