you went to the beach and decided to stay in watching movies?
Premium Rush
Rating: 5/10
Eh.....
Leaving Las Vegas 7 - 7.5/10
Surprising to see Nic Cage act quite well
Finished Damages, Season 4.
Jesus Christ......Glenn Close is such a .![]()
Vanilla Sky 7/10
What a mind . lol
I'd be surprised, too, seeing as he died in the first one, yet somehow managed to appear in six sequels.
sequels?
Ted - 7.5/10 I liked the niche humor as it appeals to my age group. Marky Mark was left to be on his own with his Bawston sensibility and crude mannerisms so that was an appeal to offset the Peter Griffin-esque value of Ted the off-the-cuff bear that actually worked. Mila Kunis was as stunning and delicious as ever (even w/no discernible ass to speak of...). I laughed considerably at the creepy role played by one Giovanni Ribisi and that his obssession was definitely key in this movie.
Lawless - 8.5/10 Not a huge fan of the stiffness that resembled Tom Hardy's portrayal as Forrest Bondurant. However, it worked when contrasting his style amongst Shia L.'s youthful ambivalence and green methods of being the runt of the Bondurant family. As a huge fan of the mafia/mob/bootlegger genre, this movie was worthwhile and I'd watch it again on Blu-Ray or on T.V. Sad what happened to Cricket and the roles played by Gary Oldman and Guy Pearce were awesome. Special Agent Rakes was tremendously on point as a cretin and the whole questioning of his manhood scene while great could've been brilliant--along the lines of Robert DeNiro's bat scene in The Untouchables or somewhere closer to the camera scene between Jude Law's hitman and Paul Newman's anti-hero in Road to Perdition. I would recommend it for those looking for a movie to catch.
I give that one a 7.5/10...managed to not suck and it included so many superheroes that it felt realistic enough and not gimmicky where it was like whatever.
I just got back from an advanced screening of Trouble With The Curve. The movie was ok, but Clint Eastwood was great. His character was just as grumpy as it was in Gran Torino. 6.5/10
ing Isaac has kept me from seeing Lawless yet, and it pisses me off.
That is all.
Just watched Lawless. Really enjoyed it.
When did you get power back? I finally had it back when I got home from the LSU game late Saturday night. Entergy sucks.
If the Entergy outage maps can be trusted, mine came back on sometime Monday evening. I don't know for sure, though, because I fled to St. Louis on Saturday night and am still there. After five days of hearing me about how hot and bored I was, some of my family offered to pitch in for a last minute plane ticket.
Safe 5/10 - not even being a Jason Statham movie can save it from being mediocre
Man on a Ledge 6/10
I hope to see Lawless again this weekend!![]()
Lawless - Boy did Shia LaBeouf have a death wish in this movie. Tom Hardy (still with the Bane physique), on the other hand, could not die. Guy Pearce looked like he came out of The Wall. Overall, it was a fun movie. The whole foot washing thing was hilariously embarrassing.
Gary Oldman could have used more than two or three scenes, though.
Haywire 8/10
The Debt 7/10
You're being overly generous.
Yes, because rating Haywire 8/10 is definitely worse than watching Vanilla Sky.
Have you even watched that movie? Dont let the le fool you.
And Haywire and Vanilla Sky are two very different movies so what are you even talking about?
