This was a popular TV show back in the mid 80s I think it could still be seen on TV today.

It's ranged from terrible to atrocious for over a decade now, tbh....
1998 was the last good year of the series; it has been basically unwatchable since.
I think since the early 2000s it's been average but nevertheless there was a long time where it was great
Relativaly new shows but these are shows that you will go back and watch at any given time and enjoy them.

As for toons, Tom And Jerry.
Star Trek TNG. I used to watch that with my family before I murdered everyone.
