this years number 2 draft pick proved why he should have been the number 1 pick in this year's draft. he brings a swagger to the redskins and for a rookie he played with the poise of a seasoned vet. with drew brees like accuracy and michael vick like running ability, he carved the saints defense with crisp accurate laser-like passes and when there were no windows, he made plays with his legs. he made his case for rookie of the year with this performance against drew brees and the saints.

and Cam Newton is a beast. he deserves all the media nuthugging. he came in the league torching defenses like no rookie qb before.
1st year don't matter, consistency does, this is the year that tells us what kind of qb he'll be. Defenses studied a year's worth of tape, which they didn't have last year.
you're right, consistency does matter and cam had a great rookie year. he's only played 1 game this year. so cam had a ROY season because defenses didn't have tape on him? GFTOH. cam still had a pretty good game today against a good defense.
anyways, this week belongs to RG3.
vince young had a roy season how did that work out for everyone involved. I'm not saying he's vince young but that tape makes alot of difference.
