Liked him as Bill the Butcher in GoNY...so this will be something i'll check out...oh he was superb as Daniel Plainview in TWBB as well...
Top 5 performance of all-time imo, but then again I'm biased...
His best role...not sure if top-5, but then again I'm not big on lists because they're always substantially saturated with opinion and no real untouchable variances. But he is one of my personal favorites though.
I think it was the most unlikable character ever put on film, and he played it masterfully--to the point where you started to like him. It was amazing

DDL will deliver like usual, though I worry about Spielberg. it will probably feel like propaganda and be schmaltzy as , which is usual for Spielberg. hopefully there are some killer battles scenes on par with Saving Private Ryan.

Great cast. The character's (Lincoln) voice is not what I expected, but I'm probably forever going to expect him to talk like Daniel Plainview from now on

I was reading up on that and most historians agree that his voice was higher pitched, judging from historical do ents. And we all know how DDL loves to go deep into character...Thanks for posting the new trailer, I was going to but have been busy all day.

sons I think this film will get plenty of nominations, but The Master will likely take best picture, best director, and best lead actor (Joaquin Phoenix).

Spielberg is bad. I wish a better director were in charge of this.
DDL will probably make up for all deficiencies though.
