No one I know is willing to switch over from facebook.
What's the point? Not only does Facebook have more to do, but everybody I know is already on Facebook, and that's the real reason I get on there.
I could care less about features like Hanging Out; if I wanted to webcam with people, I had ways to achieve that before. , GOOGLE had ways to do that before.
G+ sucks imo...it reminds me of that ty jomsocial module but worse atm tbh.

Really no point in "switching" right now. I think G+ will eventually take over a huge share of the market though. Too many of the services are better and the privacy settings are way easier to manage.
It has better methods of sharing information - the real purpose of social media - for various groups like media geeks/junkies and certain professionals. It just seems to me that anyone who is technically inclined would prefer it to Facebook and this is at Beta phase. I can only imagine how good Google can make it given a year.

I look at it maybe once a week. No one seems to use it much outside of one or two people in my circles.
So apparently everyone is fed up with the FB changes, I have read a lot of my friends complain about them and have gotten more friend requests on G+ today than I had since I opened my account.
I like G+ better. A lot better. But I must admit its dead and until it gains critical mass I won't use it all that much.
The facebook changes have been pissing me off. Not because the changes themselves are bad -- I'm generally pretty flexible when it comes to UI tweaks -- but because of how frequent they've become. There have been at least five times in the last week that I've signed on to facebook and been assaulted by a bajillion little windows telling me how to use the dumb new features that are probably going to be gone already by the next time I sign on. Just silly.
That said, I'm not a big enough user of social media to make it worth going over to Google+ all on my own. I was late to facebook, have only about 43 friends (all of whom are either family or really close friends that I correspond with primarily in person), and probably spend a grand total of five minutes every day actually doing anything on facebook. Realistically, I'm there until my group of friends starts to migrate.

I keep in touch with exactly one person on it, and look at it every few weeks. Barely at all, but I like the new web and mobile layouts.
I don't use it anymore. lol Google.
I still use it about once a day. I keep up with news and various developments on it. A couple of friends too, but mostly to keep up with android developers and such. I have noticed that more and more of my friends are using it, and the post counts are going up, but it is very slow.
I think that Google would serve themselves well by creating an app that posts to/pulls from both your FB and your G+ account (if such a thing doesn't exist).
--I think that is what HTC friendstream might be, but I am not sure.

well I want an app anyway, because I am going nexus on my next phone.
I tried getting into it only because I wanted to get the most out of my tablet. Only lasted a week for me. It's all about people updating inane in their lives and people posting pictures of their current dinner plates.
I don't know, it seems that there is a higher level of conversation on g+ over facebook (low bar, I know), but if you don't like social networking period then there is no reason to use G+ (or FB, etc). I think that G+ has some good aspects that help with productivity (hangouts), but other than that, it is still a social network.
