Is this guy the RSJ replacement recruit?
Quote from WR Devon Allen (Rivals):
"UCLA is definitely No. 1 right now," Allen said on Wednesday evening. "I didn't really expect for it to be that great. I really enjoyed being there. UCLA is the top as of now, but that could change when I take my official to Texas. I haven't been to Texas yet."
Is this guy the RSJ replacement recruit?
The coaches are going for Devon Allen, LaQuon Treadwell, and Robbie Rhodes but my guess is that we end up with Tori Hunter Jr.
No. Allen was contacted around the time Rhodes committed to Baylor and the staff has been recruiting him for a while. I guess you could consider Treadwell somewhat of a "Plan B" for RSJ even though they're different players and RSJ's future at WR is unclear (still would love to have him). Treadwell is definitely a WR.

Oh, fudge...
@SBNRecruiting
Thanks to @JC_Hoops & @MustangsNation for letting us know Texas 4/5* DT @ashawnrobinson is on an official visit today to Florida State.
Update on DT A'Shawn Robison from OrangeBloods...he's definitely in Tallahassee on an official visit and the Texas coaches were aware of the trip ahead of time.
Because of injuries and three players decommiting, this class sucks.
Yes I'm saying ashawn is gone.
I have to agree. A'shawn was always the sketchy one in the class, even before we knew anything on DH and RSJ.
supposedly robinson likely to visit bama as well.
Honestly I'm pretty surprised to hear about A'shawn. That guy is a monster, I hope he doesn't go to bama...
guys at insidetexas think he's close to momma so think in the end he'll stay close to home. who knows though.
he is a monster, i was shocked everybody didn't put him as 5* after seeing him dominate at the opening. sadly i think he and RSJ were top two can't miss recruits in our class.
I think there's a good chance he stays with Texas. RSJ was never going to happen.
Darrion Johnson's brother said that Texas went by to Brenham to see DJ play.
Hunter jr commits to ND
I have that TV.
I saw that live. It was so fast, I was hoping no one saw it. The weirdest part is the dude behind them pushing their heads together.

Yes, that is certainly weird, but not at all surprising. However, that "dude" looks like he's enjoying it as much as they are.
just be glad it for a game only ags would be watching and not prime time game like florida.
as dylan said the times they are a changing
I'm dure you guía Knight but it was "pride" weekend, glad we didn't expose ourselves to this haha

I hope the purpose of Giles' visit was to see Johnson more than it just being a routine stop in Brenham. Kid is talented.

Texas apparently wasn't that close to offering, so I hope there's some good news on other fronts. Allen will be on campus in two weeks and Treadwell's family approves of Texas getting involved.
