Kawhi and Jax should be in the 80's. TD-85, TP-90, Manu-86.

Every single year you idiots cry about why Parker is rated so low. Hes a PG, like outside shooting and 3 pt shooting is a big deal for that position and lets be honest the guys shot sucks for a PG.
He has one of the best mid-range J's in the game for a PG, wtf have you been watching the last couple of seasons?
lol no
Kawhi would be in the 75-78 bracket at best, Jax in the 77-79.
I don't get how Manu gets a higher rating than Tony Parker when the latter went HAM on the season, despite Gms 3-6 of the WCF.
I would honestly rank them this:
Timmy - 84
Manu - 85
Tony - 86
Jax - 79
Kawhi - 78
Danny - 75
Diaw - 79
Tiago - 78
85 Tim
85 Manu
88 Tony
If they gave a Nash an 87, then Tony Parker should be at least slightly higher in the rating.
Fair ratings
lol no. Green and Diaw are in the high 60's to low 70's, while Tiago is surely mid-60 quality.
very reliable midrange jumper and the ability to score like he does makes him worthy of a 90. has solid defensive skills (when he tries), top 5 rim finisher, converts crazy circus shots i haven't seen since iverson. i think he's worthy of a 90
Yeah,I might've probably overrated Green, Diaw and Tiago. Looking back, I'd give Diaw and Green 72s while Tiago a 67.
I honestly think though, that Timmy should be a point lower than Manu just cause he really lost lots of what he used to dominate with. If that's the case with Nash, then I agree with your rating of Tony.
All of the Spurs stats are more or less the same as their real-life counterparts in a simulated season with these ratings I have for them (although a highly skilled player can make anyone look like a star in-game):
Tim: 86
Tony: 84
Manu: 86
Kawhi: 82
Jackson: 78
Diaw: 74
Blair: 72
Green: 72
Neal: 72 (drops down to 66 when switched to the PG position)
Mills: 72
Splitter: 70
De Colo: 68
Bonner: 64
Brown: 67
Joseph : 65
His shot has always been inconsistent, its far from being one of the best midrange Js in the league. Its the reason hes so easily neutralized in the playoffs, pack the paint on him and take your chances with him shooting jumpers...that strategy has worked against him. He shoots so many midrange jumpers because he doesnt have range past that not because hes so good at them.
IMO Kawhi's ranking on 2k12 is on point, but they make him too good....almost like lebron 2.0
That's the funny thing. He's a good slasher and adept at the corner 3, which is why his TS% is eye-popping for a rookie. Add to that his good rebounding and you have someone already better than Shawn Marion in the scoring department.
so i guess none of you sissy spur fans want it?
Hop on that PS3 and ill put it on ya.
Ask your real life friends, damn.
I have no problem playing with the spurs on 2k. You always end up seeing the same teams anyway. Miami, OKC, lakers, NY, Boston, and every nos and then clippers, pacers, and dallas I got a lineup set for each one of those teams but as the game wears on I'm more than likely running small ball with Parker, Manu, Leonard, jack, and Duncan.
Reliability really doesn't affect a video game ranking very much. That's what holds Manu back in real basketball. Video games assume all players are at their constant prime, and there's always a huge lag in the reaction to players getting old.
For example, in recent 2k versions you can still do crazy explosive and athletic dunks with Kobe that he simply cannot do in real life.
Given both are healthy and playing the same amount of minutes, Manu is a bigger total factor than Tony. Defense is half of the game, and of course Manu is probably defensively overrated in the game (because of that lag), it boosts his ranking vs. Tony. Both players can drive, both are similar from midrange (Manu prob slightly better), and Manu clearly better at 3PT shooting and passing compared to Tony.
you weren't online
Added my comments about it. I think in general Kobe doesn't deserve to be any higher than a flat 90 anymore. He's had the same 2k stats for years now despite the irl decline.
And Manu. . .I'm surprised he's that low when he has such an overall good game, and his main issue is his lack ofdurability. . . which is a stat and doesn't effect a player's overall rating.
I'm guessing they probably nerfed his athleticism and defensive stats even though he's better defensively than Kobe (when they play eachother, he still guards Kobe while Kobe hides on Leonard/RJ. . .lol.)
That's because video game stats reflect per game stats, not real skill. Kobe's chucking = more PPG = better rating.
Sadly, yeah. Then they overrate the out of his defensive skills and claim he's a super talent. . .even though in the 20 or so Lakers games I watched last year, I didn't see Kobe have a single good consistent defensive performance for any of those games despite always guarding the worst perimeter player on the floor at all times.
That doesn't explain Howard's 95.
