I don't really favor any of these....where is NOTA? I favor some regulation, but only the real nudity and violent stuff.....I don't believe the FCC is doing a effective job..I think like everything else it been over-politicized....Should the FCC regulate the content of broadcast television?

Political compass.orgs stuff is a bit more complex and the test is longer. It has also been updated since 2004, unlike the test in the OP, no offense.
It is also a test that separates to much one side or the other. I find most issues are far from as black and white as one must think to answer this test right.

None of the multiple-choice answers fit what I would do. For example, for welfare, there is no option for seizing the assets of the well-to-do white liberals the government kills and redistributing those assets to the poor. What a useless quiz.
Mine came out as liberal leaning centrist, concerned about civil rights violations but wanting more financial controls. That is fair, imo.
It also suggested that I should probably vote for Gary Johnson.
