FYI, all four threads I'm subscribed to show up as "Live" in my control panel. Is this true/is this intentional? If so, is that pretty taxing on the server to make all threads "live"?
It'll all be saved but if you let it load, it should only show 40 at a time. But you can go back and see the rest of the thread.

Pages don't ac ulate when you just sit on the thread but they show up if you exit and come back.
SpursReport is probably pretty mad right now with all these goodies, tbh
Another awesome thing done today is the new search engine (Sphinx). Given the abundance of new toys and bling the search function is a bit unnoticed, but we managed to make it blazingly fast. What took over 30 seconds to find can be now done in under a second. Try it!
Only this one is Live... maybe Live means something else in the control panel.... maybe just means not closed.
I don't see any other live threads. What forum are those threads in? Same forum or spread around?

You can see other posts being posted in other forums if you click the "Live" tab on the main page.
I thought that was pretty cool.
By the way, this is a pretty minor thing unrelated to the live thread, but spurstalk needs a better favicon
Yeah that is thread-worthy. Searching "duncan" went from 30+ seconds to 0.6 seconds for me
Yeah that's a Live feed of everything on all the forums.
I checked, and they're not actually live. However, in the control panel, there's a big red "LIVE" image next to them. As Kori said, maybe that means something different. (FYI, they're all in the Spurs forum, just the threads I've posted in today.)
I bet the server load on the search is a lot smoother too... everytime the board hang before I was wondering who was searching through the database

So now that's fixed, so everything else is a bonus to me.

Yep... are you using the built-in Sphinx from vB or the custom add-on one?
Custom, it is much better.

Is that LIVE symbol off of the subscribed threads?
It's wild just sitting on the thread watching replies appear. I'm easily entertained though.
