Obviously stopping Howard alone is a tough task no matter who is out there, but TD and Splitter should be fine at the 5. It's going to be interesting to see how the Laker's handle the inevitable spacing problems with Gasol and Howard on the floor. If Gasol camps out near the top of the key, Diaw should be a decent option and so too may a "stretch 4".

The Spurs have Duncan, Splitter, Diaw to guard post players, the problem, we only have SJAX and Kawhi to guard the more mobile SF/PF. That is where Derrick Brown or Wilkerson would help. Plus there are more teams built around small ball now, so Spurs should try to improve their lateral, perimeter defense.

I agree. I still think the Lakers will have a hard time beating OKC for the same reason. Dwight's fine but Gasol can't hang with theit 4s on the defensive end, and behind him their stretch 4 is the ageless wonder Jamison?
