I've given Romney credit for a good debate, but as I posted before, the devil is in the details, and Romney gave Obama many vulnerabilities with his promises
Ok,but you keep acting like between now and election day, either of them will explain anything in detail. We both know that won't happen and there will just be more of the same.....and regardless, you will chalk every world event, every debate, every attack ad, every out of context quote, as a win for Obama.....that's what you do,you're a partisan hack....it's cool, just admit it.

Obama must have lost his script.

Obama had the worst presidential debate performance in my lifetime.
    Kerry was worse, IMO.

I was implying the European crisis melts down to the point where it hits America and Obama deals with a mini-version of what the Republicans had in 2008. Of course it'd be dumb to expect Americans to keep up with the situation in Europe and stay informed
    Noted....my bad.

Obama has a small government record to run on, you might consider that a vulnerability, but minus the wing-nut talking points about an improving unemployment rate, I consider that a pretty good record

Agreed....and to add to that, "who would you like to drink a beer with"?

That question right there is pretty solid evidence that this country is mentally re ed.
That and the "Which candidate is more like me?" question Americans seem to think is important.

If you're a dumbass with no post high school education who works construction and who's idea of fun is polishing off a 30 rack of Milwaukee's Best every weekend, you shouldn't want a president who's anything like you.

I don't give a if the President makes a good drinking buddy, I've got plenty of friends with whom I can sit down and drink a beer.

I want a president that knows what the he's doing in the Oval Office.

    Besides, Romney doesn't drink.

If Romney actually knew what he was talking about he'd hammer us over the head with details. This guy has been in the race for god knows how long and people are still asking him for specifics. The guy had a good debate but let's not pretend he hasn't been practicing like a MF for this He made the most of his shot tonight but if he truly knows what he's talking about it would have come out in the past 10 months.

Well, both of these guys are too. I don't think people that care about debates care about that, tbh.

Kerry was a bad candidate. Would have made a better president than Bush, though.

Oh stop it Dan....don't start acting like just this year you decided to really take into consideration all ideas from both sides of the aisle. The dems could run a coconut and you'd vote for it....nothing wrong with that, just embrace it.

So the consensus is that Romney won? I only watched about 10 minutes but it seemed like a draw to me. Of course, FOX News was thrilled while MSNBC was sad. CNN was just like "it is what it is".

As soon as the GOP runs a candidate that has a realistic immigration, tax, social security, spending, energy, and insurance policy we'll talk...
