For gods sake can splitter ever stay healthy just for at least one season.
Seriously Splitter makes Manu look like Matt Bonner in staying healthy.

Thank you all for watching!
Some random thoughts:
- Even if it was just a scrimmage, Kawhi is looking more and more like a true stud.
- Blair is effectively in a very good shape. He played a good game and didn't some signs of unhappiness after having not being traded.
- He didn't really play well, but Curry looked terrific physically wise. He was surprisingly mobile for a player of that size. Curry might be the big surprise of the camp.
- Other training camp invite haven't been impressive but some like Wilkerson and Powell were solid.
- Cory Joseph did some nice things after his great SL.
- If De Colo wants to get some minutes this year, he will need to upped a lot his intensity in the preseason games and show that he is hungry.
I thought De Colo did some nice things with the ball in his hands but his defense looks to be pretty non existent.
-Blair is immature, yes, but he still has a little bit of Spur in him that he uses adversity to motivate himself to get better. He looks in great shape, the new jumpshot should really help his case for minutes this year, and pleasantly reminded us that he is still way above average at finishing near the rim. Only problem is defense, and will always be defense.
-Kawhi played good, not great. He would be far more dangerous if he got an iso on the elbow or on the spur. Sometimes he catches the ball way too far away or at a bad angle, hard for him to do anything. If he can perfect his midrange game (you know, like MJ or Kobe) it'll open up his 3 point and ultimately his post game/penetration a lot more. If we're gonna have an iso guy we need to do it right. He won't be TP/Manu on the high pnr, he needs the ball in the right spots.
-Neal is so efficient (offensively) it's insane. This team will reap the benefits of having him at full time SG, especially when guys like Danny/Nando struggle like today.
-Manu and Tim look great as usual.
-Patty looks fantastic, at least against the second team (his level). Whatever combination of Manu/Neal/Patty should be fun off the bench, as bad defensively as that sounds.
-CJ has matured a lot, damn. Should give Mills a run for his money. If CJ keeps putting pressure on the guys above him we could definitely see Neal or De Colo out of the rotation sooner than we thought.
-Bonner is the scrimmage GOAT.
-De Colo looked invisible to bad, but first game against all NBA talent, nbd.
-Powell really impressed me IMO, though I wasn't paying too much attention to the new guys. I'd still rather have Curry, tbh. That size is just something we haven't seen in so long...and especially with Splitter so injury prone...you think it won't be valuable after 6 months in the system? Sign this fatass, now.

It's probably asking too much but is there a box score?
I'll be writing something up a little later. Good to be in Spurs season again
P.S.
How did this Live feature work tonight? Any hitches?
Maybe Kawhi could work on elbow jumpers and model his offensive game like a better rebounding Paul Pierce. That would be a good style for him to emulate.
Curry's also the first 7 footer on the Spur roster for a really long time.
Worked pretty well.
Worked good. BTW, do you have any interest in some sort of spurs/nba news type of module to show like the "hottest threads"? I was inspired last night and wrote something, but before wrapping anything up I thought I'll ask.
Sounds pretty interesting. PM me with details![]()
Will do![]()

link to replay of the game please, anybody?
Ginobili sounded pretty darn high on Josh Powell and Eddy Curry in that interview.
timvp jr's game recap:
- Everyone did a lot of jumping
- Tony Parker went fast, and another guy too
- Bonner was there
- The coyote gave everybody t-shirts
- Daddy didn't let me have a balloon
- We ate hotdogs and peanuts
THIS PLEASE!!
^ spursdotcom said earlier in this thread that they won't be posting the replay.
Hopefully someone somehow recorded the game. I hate that I was working during the scrimmage.

F Word! Then that means I'll never see it. F Word!
Thanks. Was unable to catch the scrimmage tonight so looking forward to some analysis.
Pretty damn adorable! Did you guys watch live as well? How was the experience? Was everyone pumped up? Being a little scrimmage and all![]()
