having now read the OP, it seems you only need to look at the OP to have an argument for apple. It only states that the S3's display is technologically superior to the iphones.

Seems strange that IHS and DisplayMate came to different conclusions. Displaymate essentially said that the iPhone had almost the entire color gamut, while IHS says 72%, with the S3 Displaymate says it has a larger than standard color gamut which leads to overly exaggerated colors, while IHS says it has the full color gamut.

DisplayMate president Raymond Soneira blasted the study, arguing that the color gamut test IHS conducted was based off of an old standard that has led to incorrect conclusions.
CNET contacted IHS for a comment, and we'll update the story when the firm responds.
    And

The difference in color gamut between the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 doesn't necessarily mean iPhone users will get a worse experience, IHS said, adding that better calibration, higher brightness, and superior power efficiency of the display may result in more accurate and realistic representation of image color and contrasts.
Which seems to kind of go against the idea that the S3 has a better display, and is essentially what Displaymate said, that because the iPhone 5 is better calibrated from the factory, has a higher brightness and better power efficiency, that it's the better display:
the Brightness is about half of the iPhone 5 due to power limits from the lower power efficiency of OLEDs and concerns regarding premature OLED aging.
IHS is basically saying that if you look at two tech specs, the S3 has a better display, but it's also possible that those specs are incorrect according to Displaymate, and IHS never tries to say the end user experience is better on the S3.
