sons as an owner there are only TWO reasons why you would elect for a black QB ...

1. Financial Reasons - You luck up and get a Cam Newton/RG3-like player who will sell a ton of tickets, merchandise, and media hype for a couple of years despite not improving the team overall (and then trade/cut them)

2. Political Correctness - You feel as if it is the right thing to do and may even get you a pat on the back from the media even though you and everyone else knows damn well your team will not improve

Why do arguments about black QBs always end up with the black QB advocate going off on a tangent arguing with strawmen about how good black people are at RB, CB, WR, DL, LB.

For the 200th time, all rational white people (including all of the ones in this thread arguing against black QBs) concede the fact black people are overwhelmingly superior at those positions. To act like we think anything different is a strawman. That being said, the simeon dominance at those positions is completely irrelevant to the argument about black QBs. The skillset required to play those positions is not in any way related to the skillset required to play QB.

Why do kickers do bench reps at the combine? I guess it must be because kickers having great upper body strength is extremely important in case there is a bad snap and they need to block for the holder who is trying to scramble for the 1st down!

I argue it because the people always advocating the black QB have really re ed arguments and say really re ed stuff, like how you're saying a QB's 40 time is really important. Where did I say I cared about a 40 time? I said the NFL does, thats why they run the 40.

Warren Moon was the greatest black QB of all time his stats are better than 98% of all white QB's, he was no runner.
