No to both.
No... But I wouldn't be surprised if he did a better job.
trading to get older...lol spurs is not a retirement center
No...Trading to get better and there would still be more younger players on the team...You need a mix of both to get where you want to be.
Suggesting a trade for Millsap isn't outlandish but suggesting that Bell can help hurts your credibility. Bell is beyond done as a basketball player. He's been horrible the last two seasons and his defense fell off a cliff in 2008.
Millsap for Bonner, Blair and Neal? Could be. And then add Curry as the 5th big.
But I sincerely doubt the Spurs will go over the tax.
Ha...08? Wrong...He was still playing well even with the Bobcats and who would want to play there...Ya...He's so done that the Spurs wanted to sign him... Before signing with the Jazz... He's so done his first season he started almost all yr and avg more min's than a person who was said to be done would, and he also helped them make the playoffs before getting injured and having differences with the team into the next yr! So the only cred that is hurt is your's..."TIMVP"...Ha.

Dunkman, Ya Jackson would almost have to be in any trade for a good big in the league that can help the team just cause of the numbers.
Hard to tell if this is a genuine gnsf or a troll disguised as one
The Spurs really need another wing, so he would help.
That must come from experience...Ha.

Raja Bell is so bad these days he got kicked out of the playoff rotation and the Jazz basically told him not to come to training camp.
You're right that the Spurs wanted him, but he also turned the Spurs down. He obviously didn't want to play here so that is another reason I simply don't give a about him. He had his chance and passed up on it. Spurs even put in a good word for him back in the day when they cut him from training camp years ago. I think it was Pop who put in a good word for him with Larry Brown to play for the Sixers?
Sjax on the other hand wanted to come back here. He wants to be here and I wanted him back on the team. Raja Bell doesn't want to be here so I simply don't give a about him.
Who knows maybe Bell would want to be here if it means being out of Utah. Btw if you want bad just look at Jack's % from last season.
He was bad in Milwaukee but good in San Antonio. Learn to look at the shooting splits.
Ya if you call 30% in S.A. good then maybe I'm not the one that need's to learn something...Ha.
So to you his regular season numbers are more important than his playoff numbers?
They should be...They pay him to much not to be.
Guess GNSF never heard about Horry, tbh...
Friends don't let stupid friends create posts.
Raja Bell is crap wrapped in a turd covered in poop and encased in . From your constant cheerleading for Bell one can only come to the following conclusions: you're Raja Bell himself or you're Raja Bell's agent.
We have enough pussies on the roster that ONLY produce in the regular season.
Obviously, the Spurs disagree with you since they flipped one of those, Richard Jefferson, for Jack, the post season assassin.
No to that trade but this may be a better possibility.

Spurs secure their post rotation with a proven starter in Smith. Diaw strengthens the bench as primary back up. Spurs open roster space to sign more than one prospect from camp. Curry, Powell, Brown, Witherspoon?
Jazz get to realocate their bigs moving backup to starter now that Milsap will be gone and receive in Blair a strong back up. Neal provides a huge upgrade to Utah's dismal 3 point efficiency from last season as well as Jackson's expiring which would help in retaining Neal for the future and/or go after other players. Plus Jackson gives the Jazz for at least one season depth to make a post season run than they would have in Bell.
Hawks will have to consider what to do about Smith next season and may not be financially able to resign Smith. Milsap a proven starter would be more easily resigned for the same as to a little less than Smith yet provide the talent the Jazz would be loosing in Smith for a longer duration.
All three teams have former gm's from each team now part of the management of the other team. Each know the other and the players mentioned.
Not saying this will happen. Odds are not. But to me makes more since if we're going to throw trade ideas involving the teams and players mentioned.
Millsap is awesome, but raja is in the sam league that josh howard is, so don't even bother.. Anyway i wouldn't give jax anyway...
