Lrn2contextualize, bot.
it is to the evangelical audience he is courting to buy his products. evangelicals are consistent when it comes to judging people for sexual indiscretions, so it could end up costing D'Souza big bucks if he doesn't do something to appease his audience.
Yeah, the evangelical population of ST Politics is overwhelming. It's super important.
D'Souza makes a do entary parroting his silly opinions about Obama, throwing stones from his perch atop the evangelical throne. I made this thread because it's satisfying to see idiots like D'Souza exposed defying their own belief system. He's about to contemplate his transgressions on the tree of woe when he loses his job and nobody takes him seriously anymore.
As I stated at the outset, the cheating is not the issue here. It's clearly not super important, but it is super fun to relish the associated shadenfreude that comes with D'Souza being discredited by his own congregation and devout followers.
maybe not to you or me, but important to others nonetheless.
Fun. Aim higher.
actually, we should all aim higher than ST political forum
presumably about half the posters here will vote in November. does that count?
why are you posting in this thread if you think the topic is stupid?
character flaw.
btw...made no judgement on the "stupidity" of the topic. Just that, in the scheme of things, it ranks about 145,339.957.947,846,358,986,836,445,025 th.
@ohgee: why not? making fun of other posters is a usual mode of posting here. aren't you doing it too?
meh. to those who thinks it makes a difference perhaps.
me? No, don't believe I am doing that.
Eh, the idiocy of his "work" speaks for itself. I didn't know that having an anticolonial mindset was un-American and dangerous. His hypocrisy is just fun.
Another "morals" and "values" Republican caught doing the things he preaches against. Shocker.
well, that was fast.
D'Souza resigned today.
I wasn't planning on bumping this again, but I hope you will read just a snippet of this article about the married woman with whom D'Souza had the affair:
Link
As others have noted, one of the things that she lusted after on her "I, Denise, Lust After…" blog was D'Souza, one of her "favorite conservative activist philosophers." And as Brian noted on Tuesday, she shares D'Souza's right-wing views and has strong words for liberals about marriage, divorce, adultery and cohabitation.D'Souza may have lost his ridiculous 7-figure King's College salary, but at least now he has a mate who shares his deeply held hypocrisy and fluid, self-serving morality. This could be the start of something big....

Senators write FBI over Dinesh D’Souza case
Four Republican senators have sent FBI Director James Comey a letter regarding conservative author and political commentator Dinesh D’Souza, who was indicted for campaign finance fraud last month.
In the letter, Sens. Charles Grassley, Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee quote Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz as saying, “I can’t help but think that [D’Souza’s] politics have something to do with it. … It smacks of selective prosecution.”
