Good for you.
but......zelda
Look, some of the features of the U are interesting, but Nintendo buried and limited itself long ago by becoming the console of children. The next iterations of PS and Xbox will blow it out of the water. Furthermore, since I'm a PC gamer that enjoys les that actually make me think, there's just no room for a gimmicky console. Nintendo ed itself and nothing is going to help them catch up. They should just stick to handheld devices and kiddie games because that is the only place they're going to hold market share
If that's what floats your boat, then fine. Enjoy
im surpised most of the games during the 80-90s didnt get a revamp for todayss technology with the graphics and game play
theres stacks of les i think could be game worthy, like gauntlet legends, golden axe, castlevania
if it's anywhere near as easy to hack as the wii, i will probably get it at some point.
Well said.
If you're talking tech, then sure. But last I checked, and I could be wrong, the Wii had outsold both the PS3 and 360 by a good margain.
http://www.therichest.org/technology...eo-game-sales/Nintendo still maintains its lead for the ulative units of sold consoles. Nintendo has over 95 million Wiis worldwide. The disparity is high, considering that the Xbox 360 only has 66 million units while the PS3 has 62 million units.
So, while you can claim that Nintendo ed itself, it seems to me that they're pretty happy with the performance of the Wii. Plus, by targeting kids, they're insuring that the console will be bought by many parents. I have my old Wii that I bought but never got to play because my son took it over. I bought him his own but my daughter took over my old one. They're 4 (daughter) and 6 (son). My daughter mainly watches Netflix on it but my son plays games and watches movies, so both are definitely getting use out of them after all these years.
but.......zelda
Zelda, Mario brothers (still haven't played Mario Bros Wii because my son gets upset if I beat him although he's probably better than me now) and Super Smash Bros are all fun games to play. Those 3 les made the Wii purchase an easy one for me (although Mario wasn't out when I bought my first one).
In terms of power and all that, the Wii U is the Turbografx (to SNES, Genesis), Saturn (to PSX), and Dreamcast (to PS2/Xbox) of its time. Basically a half-step up from the previous generation. Don't get me wrong, I want to get it because I like getting new tech and I'm bored as with this generation and want something new in the meantime, a stopgap to the PS4/720 plus playing shooters all the ing time wears thin. There's nothing like a Mario/Zelda break once in a while when everything nowadays is ing shooters and heading towards hyper realism is which exhausting.
That I'm an adult thing earlier in this thread is pretty stupid, no offense bro.
Yep the Wii outsold both main consoles. And the Nintendo DS still does to this date.
I think what symple19 is saying is that the Nintendo people have limited themselves to catering for kids. Money wise they are and should be happy because their targets are kids and as long as we have them parents will buy them.
In terms of harware he's right though. Microsoft and Sony are on another level when it comes to that stuff. Nintendo will always be one step behind as long as they keep where they are.
