tbh Ether ended that with Nas victorious. Jay could have written 1000 diss songs with better lines, and it still didn't have the effect that Ether had. To this day Ether is the one song everyone remembers from that beef, so that has to give it to Nas. Jay might have had nicer lines, but his punches and jabs did nothing after Nas threw a knockout haymaker.
