Window washers dress up as superheroes to surprise patients at Memphis children’s hospital
Superheroes don’t just come in comic books.
Two window washers had young patients at a Memphis children's hospital marveling when they rappelled down the 12-story building in Spiderman costumes.
"The kids loved it," Jordan Emerson of the window-washing company, American National Skyline, told the Daily News of the Oct. 17 surprise. "For those, 20 to 30 minutes, they forgot they were in the hospital."
Emerson said that he and his partner, Danny Oszaniec, pitched the idea to their boss, Steve Oszaniec, about a month ago.
"Every time we come down the building, the kids jump out of their beds and run to the windows, saying 'Are you guys Spiderman?'" Emerson said, adding that the company has washed windows at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital many times before.
Their boss decided to join in on the superhero spree, dressing up as Captain America. The trio also walked the hospital's halls and took pictures with the kids.
"It was a really cool experience," Emerson said. "It would be a fun day to do again."

That's great.
But a small part of me thinks it'd be funny if they were dressed like Freddy Krueger, Jason, Jeepers Creepers, etc.
Maybe Santa will show up in December.
