His NBA resume is one of countless accolades, which all but makes him a lock for the Basketball Hall of Fame. However, San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan is now trying his hand at something new to add to his resume and that's becoming a business man.

For those who live in San Antonio, you may have seen a huge sign along Huebner Road with "Black Jack Speed Shop" emblazoned with huge black lettering with a red flame design. And in case you didn't know, that's the future site of Duncan's car and truck customization shop with a focus on wheels and tires, suspension, performance parts and accessories.

This is right down the block from the Spur's practice facility.

Was wondering what it was about - thought it was a parts place, didn't realize that it was to be a custom shop.

Best of luck Tim! Hope this works out, but if it doesn't, please be careful and don't throw your money away on a vanity project. Hate to see another athlete lose his shirt off the court.

I think it's pretty cool. American Muscle Cars will always have a place. It's actually money making if all you do is work on cars owned by Upper Crust White-Collar types. Here in California, there are plenty of shops with lots of work. As an specialty industry, it's as if it didn't lose any serious cash like others because those rich people like their cars done up.

I'm sure it will be successful. I'm just wondering if it means we're looking at his last season now.

Doesn't really sound like the focus will be in restoration to me but I may be mistaken, wouldn't be the first time. Good luck to Tim in this, he has been great for San Antonio and Texas.
