Season pretty much over, get ready to be consistently screen raped
at Cowboy fans having thinking there was hope before this injury. Their most "impressive win" of the season was in week 1 vs the Giants where Victor Cruz had 3 drops and Nicks was not in game shape, yet they were 1 3rd down stop from being in position to tie the game. The cowboys need other teams to outdumb them in order to win games with or without Lee.
its alright brah, we just went from 8-8 to 6-10...no big deal.
sadly though, until the day jerry jones ceases to exist...we aren't going anywhere.
i just noticed on your sig pic...nick's left hand looks ed up lol.![]()
The non-homer fans (yes I know there's not a lot) knew this already...thanks for stating the obvious.
you're the only one who gets to make excuses?![]()
Team's best player goes down for the year, yeah that in sucks.
And I hope the Cowboys embarrass the out of your team this week. Too bad we don't have a RB to take advantage of your ty edge run defense.
Bill - how can Cowboys fans even talk to NY fans? I mean, Cowboys had their shot to go to the playoffs and got c-stomped by NY who went on to win a SB.
You can always use the Laker/Celtic argument (which is weak).
Not really - since we are talking about just last season - as in defending SB champs. Not ancient history. Not to mention, LA and BOS have been relevant for a long time - not just one period then fall of the face of the planet. NY is winning SB's like it's going out of style lately.
Many people always resort to a ring number argument at some point. NY is picking up a lot of former Cowboy bandwagoners I imagine, if the TV numbers for the Boys are showing anything. Boys are in the middle of a very long, bad rut, but the Giants went almost 20 years between rings themselves. However, I don't think they were stuck with a unique owner like JJ.
Sure - I am simply talking today though. The "I won a ring from 10 years ago" argument is dumb. But when a team just beat you on their way to becoming the defending SB champs, there really is not much room to talk.
I agree, but this is still a new season. No reason not to talk , and walking around a total defeatist is no way to live, even for a Cowboy fan![]()
We beat them in week one. They're the champs and deserve respect for it but I'm not gonna let it ruin talking for me.
Also, we're not gonna give TIMMY a pass on making excuses. There were no excuses for the Rangers collapse, there were no excuses for the Cowboys not taking care of business last year, and there's no excuses when it comes to his team losing either.
Ya - but there is a difference in excuses as to why you fail every year (Cowboys) and making excuses for an individual loss (which every team does) when you still win it all.
quick question..how do yall get the cowboys logo on yalls profile?
let Jerry attack the symptoms in peace
Victor Cruz NEVER drops receptions. He had 3 in week 1. That was a fluke. The Cowboys kept going backwards and then scored a td on a 1st and 30... That was a fluke. Hakeem Nicks was out of game shape. He was out all summer with a broken foot. That was a fact. The Giants D played like ... Fact. Despite all of that, the Giants were 1 3rd down stop from tying the game. The Cowboys have not looked good all season. They need other teams to up worse than they do in order to win games.
With Canty rounding into form, the Giants run D will get better especially on the edges (sans Osi).
