Ginobili having 2 injuries, even if they are minor ones, in the training camp isn't a good sign about his ability to stay healthy this season. It's worrisome.
This games should also gives the first answers about Spurs' rotation to start the season. It's been real difficult to decipher Pop's intentions in the previous preseason games.
I think it's more precautionary than anything. A 35-year old Manu has to be sit down when the games don't matter. I don't think he will hold up the full 82.
Spurs obviously won't take the slightest risk for a preseason game but it doesn't change that it's worrisome after the injury plagued season Ginobili had last year.
Is there gonna be a live stream?
NBA.com preview shows it being broadcast on Washington local channel: Comcast SportsNet, so it may take a few minutes after tip, but there should be a stream:

Bonner keeps talking about learning Stern's techniques of persuasion.
Maybe this explains why he gets consistent minutes.

for some reason my cable box guide no longer shows its gonna be airing on fsn sw (zone 3). but I've been checking it for the past 2 weeks up until a couple nights ago and it had been saying spurs vs wizards all along, but now it says friday football sports blitz. and to make matters worse, my fox sports sw plus channel has the same exact listings as the regular channel.
Won't have to worry about Manu not playing tonight, Spurs have completed the cloning process

I enjoyed them. Wolf Blitzer was next to me. I always feel bad for Wiz fans bc DC (not Northern VA) is such a transient town there always seems to be more fans from the other team there. Spurs were always well supported when I lived there.

I remember a game in New Jersey last year where everyone was a spurs fan
all the northeastern states have pretty bad fan bases except for the celtics
and the game is on channel 26 on cable FSW
They are showing high school football on Fox SW, not the Spurs.
Wierd. It says preseason basketball on the guide, but it is high school football. Odd...

Yeah it's not showing in Austin. The TV Guide claims the game should be on fox sports southwest but they're showing "football friday" instead. It's not showing on KBVO either.
