Is this guy still a crowd favorite? God, I hope not.
Pop would have probably cut all of them if they were at the Spurs camp.

Both Bonner and Blair. I mean, one of them was guaranteed minutes anyway, but BOTH. It's ridiculous.
They love him. And they're counting on his 3s. So they're going to keep playing him until he's out of his slump.
I get the sneaking su ion that Pop really thinks that losing to the Thunder was largely due to a fluke and we are just fine. It also pisses me off that he doesn't understand just how dangerous L.A. will be in the playoffs. Changes were needed, and we came with the same group from last year.
This is going to be Blairs 4th year. I can understand him still being here, especially with the rookie contract.
On the other hand, This is Matt Bonners 7TH YEAR in a Spurs uniform. Repeat that to yourself real fast, 7 ing years. Blows my mind.
Your avatar says it all.
Just like how he thought the Spurs were a Manu injury away from going far in 2011. We definitely were better last year, but our frontline still hasn't seen much improvement.
A Diaw duncan splitter frontcourt is a highly skilled one and could get it done
the defensive schemes arent good though and the minutes arent spread correctly
pick and roll will always be a problem but splitter is the best guy to defend it but we never get to see him try
Eddy Curry. It's trade or bust for this team.
Pop is content with his 4 rings. And 50 wins every year guarantees his job security. No need to take a risk.
Agreed. Almost as much as Bowen's whole tenure here. I still don't understand why the Spurs gave this guy a 4 year extension when all of the Big 3 were given only 3 year extensions. Bonner hasn't done jack for this team other than help them win regular season games. The one year the Spurs won a le with him on the roster, he was the 11th-12th man. He is what he is. We didn't need 7 years to suffer and see that.
I don't whether to laugh or cry when I see the announcement that Bonner's jersey will be retired.
Anyone seeing this on time Warner? In SA.
Nando goes to check in, Pop calls him back
If I saw that hanging in the rafters, I'd throw sandwhiches at it.
everybody talks about how great bradley beals shot form is and how he can be the next ray allen but the one thing he doesnt have is the shooting percentages to match an elite shooter
guys looked like garbage this preseason
just hit the top of the backboard ona wide open shot
Excited to see Danny play this season. His shot looks great so far this pre-season. Hopefully he's gotten better putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim. He had a nice pass to Duncan earlier.
This unit now is really hustling...
wait until the turd tower give back the lead
Playing OKC on the second night of a back to back is going to be really really ugly
