Thank God

Spurs have exercised third-year options on Kawhi Leonard, Cory Joseph. Also waived Josh Powell after tonight's game.
No brainer for Leonard.
Good for Joseph.
Goodbye Powell!
Well that disaster was averted. The Bonner one still remains though.
Yes, yes and yes.
Keeping Powell was such a weird move. He was so-so and he wasn't a good fit with the team. Now, Spurs could either try some new players or keep the 15th spot open and have some financial flexibility for later in the season.
Picking Kawhi option was a no-brainer.
I'm glad Spurs are sticking with Joseph. He might not be ready to contribute right now but he showed a lot of qualities which made him a keeper.
Jack was hyping up Powell in his interview today that it worried me for a second that Powell was actually going to make the team. He looked decent the first two games but was below average for the rest of camp.
If only Holt had deeper pockets we could have amnestied Bonner and kept Witherspoon brown or curry
No-brainer for KL
Joseph seems like he's a keeper if he continues being serviceable. The guard depth will limit his chances but another year in Austin may do him good
Good news about Leonard and Joseph.
Powell was no big deal but it sucks we're likely rolling with Bonner and Blair. Again. So another summer of not addressing needs.
You do realize that Tim Duncan signing for a huge pay cut is the biggest offseason move the Spurs had, right?
Good news. Too bad they didn't keep Curry
I really think Joseph has the potential to be a solid backup PG in this league.
Mavs will probably pick up Powell now too. Go ahead, you can have him.
Great news. 250 whining timvp posts averted![]()
The future is here as my avatar showed from last year!
Another summer past, still same old story with the bigs. We still have Bonner so why worry? Good move on the extentions though
I know, it gets old at times saying the same backup BIGS are returning and being the first off the bench.
