WC's political mastery is about equal to his climate science mastery.
i'm not political whatsoever but i refuse to believe all republicans are like ann coulter.
when i think of republic the first thing that comes to mind is racists.
now its insensitive, en led assholes.
did she really say re ed on national television?!
i'm sure the republican parents of children with down syndrome will make excuses and forgive her lolsmh.
first the republican party comes out with "nappy headed hoe's" "lazy rhetoric" and now this?
she doesn't deserve to have a voice.
i hope she is silenced and never to be heard from again, that is after she apologizes to the President and those living with the condition that Mr. Stephens and other struggle with day in and day out.
WC's political mastery is about equal to his climate science mastery.
Shouldn't her use of that word piss off everyone?
Selling books is her game, pissing off the left is just a marketing technique.
she wrote a book! with lostsa footnotes! Like Bachmann, she's a lawyer. Show respek!
I think we have gone overboard with all of the political correctness. She did an interview with Piers Morgan where I thought she defended herself well. I'd post it but don't know how--- plus it is a fairly long video. Before the word became insensitive when you called someone a re you weren't calling them a person with downs syndrome. You were calling them an idiot, dork, dip etc. The fact that people with downs syndrome are offended by the word is enough to mean people shouldn't use it. I just don't think in any way it was a shot to people with downs syndrome. It was simply Coulter's way of saying Obama is a dip .
Yeah, she should have just used the N word for accuracy's sake.
Now that would be offensive! Is it possible for the N word to be used in a non-deragotory way?
But she meant to be derogatory. Why not use the one made for black people?
Derogatory? This whole election has been derogatory from both sides. The N word example works if she walked up to someone with downs syndrome and called them a re .
You aren't following.
She meant to be derogatory to a black man.
The N word is one of the more effective derogatory words to use regarding a black man.
Why not use it?
I took her comment to mean he is a dip . That doesn't mean she hates him or is a racist. Did is derogatory, N word is hateful.
Ah, she's being politically correct.
Re is pretty hateful now, though.
I don't think the word was ever hateful. It would mean you hate people with downs. N word is hateful because there are people that have or do hate black people.
You don't believe that the mentally handicapped are hated by some people?
![]()
No I really don't. I have never gotten the sense that it was hate. Disrespect, ignorance sure. Maybe I'm wrong, if folks with downs have fealt hate than it would be hate.
The guy with downs said he has felt it, so you are wrong.
Then she should apologize for offending and not say it again.
lol that's what this whole thread is about
It is not only derogatory to people with Down's Syndrome.
Go back and read the thread its all over the place. The le suggests her career is over which is way beyond a simple apology and self censor.
I wrote the le. I didn't not imply his career was over.
As I didn't not imply that the word wasn't offensive.
You said it wasn't hateful.
