    I already predicted the Heat will repeat.
    I do think Ray Allen is a great pick-up, especially one motivated to beat the Celts ...

    But he has little to do with why the Heat will win it all. Is he gonna shoot better in a deciding series game than Miller or Battier did LAst year?

    The Heat will win because they have the best player in the game, and another top 10 player (not sure Wade is top 5 anymore with everyone healthy) along with a top 25 player in Bosh. The gap between Lebron is almost as great as Shaq enjoyed in 2000 (Shaq's most dominant season) he should and most likely will repeat. I doubt the 3peat occurs. They missed that boat ...losing to the Mavs. Very few teams make 4 straight Finals. Time to beat Heat is NEXT year barring injury.

    Like the Celts improvements on offense btw ...

    They will return to the mean tbh. They can't hit everything.

    Its not said much in this forum because there is an apparent majority of fair-weather fans bandwagoning the Heat but the Celtics are one of the teams that could legitimately challenge Miami out of the East. Of course this is considering that many things go the C's way but they got the pieces to do it.

    I agree they can contend, they did last year with a weaker squad than this one.
    But when someone is a s good as Lebron was last year, and assuming he maintains (opponents must pray he doesnt improve) that level for most of this year who is gonna beat them barring major injuries?

    I think my Laker team, your OKC team and the Celts have a "Chance" but if Lebron maximizes his gifts that chance is slim.
