This is why Obama staged the hurricanes! He's getting credit for helping people now!

Reporter: Governor Romney, would you eliminate FEMA???
Romney: (crickets chirping in background)
FYI: This guy gave the keynote at the RNC, lol.
How can Obama afford all that relief?
Magic Negro will be here in NJ tomorrow... just got my power back too...![]()
Gov fatass has come along too.... he did good this time around... look like ages since he got caught vacationing in florida during his first big snow storm
Borrowing money (from China!) to pay for things like disaster relief. This calls for impeachment!
He's probably using Obamaphones to coordinate relief plans!
....and..cue the straw brigade.
I expect to see Obama ads in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and New Hampshire along the lines of "even GOP governors agree that Obama did a good job during our time of need" by the morning..
if he doesnt do anything...is kayne west going to give him ?
It's our grand-children's money he's spending.
Cool.
I forget the number I heard without power, but it was 7 figures.
What was funny was the Fox "news" jumping on Obama for doing something.
Taking charge and making sure things got done is "playing politics", because it makes him look presidential.
If Obama had say gone on vacation, they would have slammed him for being out of touch.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
At least he didn't apppoint a horse show judge to be FEMA director.
I will say this about the Bush administration's ups with Katrina. We learned a lot about what NOT to do.
Well, don't know about your grand-children, but some of these people really need it. We can argue about superfluous spending all day, this is likely not one of those cases.
stopping campaign + giving governors a direct line + being on top of things = leadership. To be fair, both Christie and Cuomo should get props too.
I just think he's doing what he's supposed to do. Governors play a larger role in this kinda thing, tbh.
Kick starting the recovery effort + proactive communication = leadership.
Apparently, you think he's just writing checks.
We've seen poor leadership in natural disasters before, so we definitely know what those look like.
I couldn't care less if he wins or losses the election, but this is one of those times where him (and Christie, whom I also don't particularly agree with, and Cuomo) deserve credit. Not only were they prepared, they acted the way you expect leaders to act.
YOU LIE! gfy.
Good leadership happened long before the storm made landfall. The same didn't happen with Katrina.
