give it a rest, boutons... there's people really hurting around these places... I'm glad both Christie and Barry can put away differences and get on to help these people.
This is what we need more of. I'm sure Gecko would have done the same.
I wasn't asking Romney to square it, coward.
lol @ my boy.
lol @ even having the faintest idea who I'll vote for.
lol simpleton.

YOU LIE. VWRC UCA MIC GFY!
Could you point to me where Christie even brought up relativism? The GOP golden boy has every reason to not credit Obama right now and he came out with glowing praise. Anyone with a modi of a brain will note the significance of that especially in areas where they are bombarded with the typical negative campaigning. i was stunned to hear Christie say that.
that tells me that Christie truly is appreciative to the help that the POTUS has given him to no small degree. It also indicates to me that Christie does have principles beyond GOP stoogehood. it might be a political play but i am tired of being cynical of every action. i will take this for what it is and nothing more.
pay ing attention. Gecko/Ryan plan to privatize FEMA and disaster relief.
"Pay ing attention".
Enjoy the delicious sauce, simpleton.
How would you, DarrinS, characterize the response overall -- not just in comparison to Katrina for purely partisan purposes?
about average?
above average?
below average?
Mitt Blows it on Sandy: Did the Hurricane Just Cost Him the Election?
After Romney’s laughable relief event Tuesday, reporters swarmed him to ask if he still favors sending FEMA funding and responsibility back to the states. From the Romney pool report:
“Gov are you going to eliminate FEMA?” a print pooler shouted, receiving no response.Romney won’t answer because he can’t. We saw him pivot to the center, to become the white Barack Obama, in the three debates, as he realized his unpopular policies and his contempt for 47 percent of the country was dooming his presidential bid. He’s got no standing now to talk about how he’d handle this disaster.
Wires reporters asked more questions about FEMA that were ignored.
Romney kept coming over near pool to pick up more water. He ignored these questions:
“Gov are you going to see some storm damage?”
“Gov has [New Jersey Gov.] Chris Christie invited you to come survey storm damage?”
“Gov you’ve been asked 14 times, why are you refusing to answer the question?”
The heroes of Sandy, so far, are the first responders, the cops and firefighters and emergency technicians, the folks evacuating patients from hospitals and trapped citizens from flooding.
These are the people who’ve been demonized by Republicans for the last two years: the public workers who have become the new “welfare queens.” When Obama pushed a jobs bill that would have helped states and cities avoid laying off such workers, GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell derided it as a “bailout,” and Paul Ryan, of course, voted against it.

lol dummy. gfy
That image could get a couple of votes.
OTOH, a high res version of it will give a great view of his Muslim wedding ring.
infowars.com is gonna go nuts with the conspiracy theories behind this one.
The NWO had Chris Christie ensure Obama gets reelected!
Weather modification!
Staged terrorist attacks!
tbh infowars isn't reliable - try this instead:

The guy who wants to defund FEMA and send ALL disaster relief not only back to the states but to private enterprise.
By most accounts this is just how Christie is. He pretty much says what he thinks. His state has been hit by an awful set of events, and Obama has been there to help and support him. This is how states and the federal government can work together quite well.
It's all parlance. Congress makes or breaks FEMA, not the POTUS.
If Romney were to win the election by anything significant and say the GOP gains control of the Senate then he could push all manner of things through.
Give the Repugs the WH and Congress to go along with SCOTUS, and we'll see, as with dubya and head, plenty of long term, deep damage done (to the 99%).
It's like Han Solo meeting Jabba the Hut.
Barry obviously isn't American. He's not obese enough.
These greasebags have no personal pride. (and no bull excuse about "medical condition" ")
So how long until a committee is formed to investigate the unaccounted for dollars since the red tape (aka oversight) was removed? Politicians love removing all the oversight so they can get all the funds they want to their supporters without any oversight on the matter. After it's all said and done reports will emerge of gross mismanagement of funds and the excuse will be "no red tape means no oversight".
What if the flood causes the voter turnout to swing based on location in the state and Romney wins NY?
Conservatives Bash Christie For Cooperating With Obama Post-Sandy
“He’s fat and a fool. Don’t listen to Governor Christie. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” “He makes fun of me all the time.”
called Christie “a prop for Obama’s re-election” and speculated that there must be some kind of “Christie/Romney schism.”

Rush called Christie fat? lol
Republicans love their handouts... the rhetoric is what it is, but gutting things like FEMA isn't happening. Under Mitt or anybody else.
So if Obama wins, where in his cabinet will Christie reside?
