That High-Low with Boris / Timmy sealed the game. That was some great 2 man game.

I was about to say he was so great that I didn't even notice him in the second half.

Duncan one of the most underrated clutch players of all-time
I've been saying this to people for years. Most big men usually aren't that great in crunch time and aren't clutch. TD is one of the most clutch of all time. That's one of the reasons why he is so great.

Didn't he kill the Spurs with outside shooting when he was with the Grizz? I agree with your take, but it seems like an odd juxtaposition.
    You're right, I have seen him make 3s before, but he's a career 31% 3pt shooter. I think he's very streaky.

At his age he's unlikely to make a great leap, but if he could improve that to 37% like he shot pre-season he'd be much scarier.

I think yours is better although saying that, if Matt Bonner was great in the second half, we would all definitely notice. I don't know, now I'm confused.

After this disappointing offseason Kawhi looks 1-2 years ahead of where I thought he'd be tonight.

Congrats on winning the opening game. The team overcame Manu's absence to grind it out. Glad to see the improved D in the second half, and props to Pop for properly managing the rotations.

A B2B, so Tim sits out the Home opener??
No way. Tim will probably sit some B2Bs this season, but it's only the second game. He's plenty fresh from the offseason, and any rest he gets in October isn't going to help him in May.

Couple that with it being the home opening, and there is no way Pop sits Tim.

sons overall not a bad performance, but still a lot of work to do. overall though I'm impressed with the improvement (so far). Jason Smith should have received more playing time than Robin Lopez though (check the stats) ... hopefully Monty will pay attention.

Amazing how well Duncan is still playing at this point of his career. Staying in great shape all these years has really paid off..

From what I've heard his shooting has been off and his touch around the rim wasn't where it was last year. I also heard he was trying to do too much this offseason but wasn't quite there yet. Tonight he looked like an all-star.

Hmm Bonner doesn't see time in the 2nd half and look what happens
I can't believe some of the comments I am seeing about Bonner, stuff I was saying in 2009, people are only just saying now about him. Someone said in this thread that they can't stand to even see him on the court anymore. What has taken people so long to realize that he shouldn't even be on the court? Why does he even have fans in San Antonio that turn up to the games to root for him?

Horrible player that has no business being on this team.
