I've seen enough...we're working to hard for everything out there...I never thought I'd see the day that mighty Kool would throw in the towel ..but I see no light with Mike Brown...seeing his face as coach sickens me...and I'm sure every player in that locker room feels the same way...even if you put coaching X's and O's aside the guy doesn't inspire confidence in anyone...Jim Buss ed this hire up real bad....Mike Brown bull- ted his way through the interview...he basically lied on his resume, talked up defense to an excessive degree, bragged about coaching Lebron and Jim Buss like a fool eager to get a new coach so different from Phil made the decision that will haunt us until he's fired. Things are about to get worse...there will be no Princeton offense because Brown will start making coaching decisions so as not to get fired.... Artest needs to come off the bench and we need Ebanks running the floor with Nash...we need to go ahead and develop the kid, he's a young Trevor Ariza... young, long, athletic, can shoot and is a very good defender...

I kept telling everyone we needed Barbosa's instant offense and speed off the bench....and now I'm asking for Kenyon Martin's defense...and why is Brown fixated on Princton's offense...they never won an NCAA le playing with it...he just needs to let them go out and play ball..Mike Brown is trying to think this through but his brain doesn't have the capacity to keep up...Now I'm torn between wanting to see us lose in the short term to force Brown out and us winning...My projections for us isn't very good at the moment...

I'm leaving the board until something changes I refuse to listen to the catcalls and disparaging remarks about my team....I'm now in video game pause mode....

Still even Mike Brown can't be blamed for that perimeter D. Nash, Kobe and MWP are to old and slow.

Yup, but Miami's core guys were averaging about 27 years old in age while the Lakers are averaging about 34 or 35 If the Lakers gotta wait a season or two to gel, they might lose some players to the glue factory

Miami were firing on all cylinders their first year. Lakers on the other hand look lost. I give them maybe 7-10 games before Jerry, sorry Jim pulls the plug. We experienced this with Pop in 98-99 season, and luckily we stuck with the grumpy b@s .

They fit together better than Miami's core did. LeBron and Wade have almost the same game and they struggled to play off each other for a while. They didn't actually get it together until the playoffs.

Miami struggled their first year together all the way up to the playoffs. Even had a 5 and 4 game losing streak. Not even close to firing on all cylinders, tbh.

Miami 2010 and LA 2012 are not that much of parallel cases. LA has WAY MORE problems to solve aside from trying to get settled in their roles.

Spo might be dumb at times but at least he got the memo that he has a strong team and he should give them a free hand.

Like I said, bench, Coach Nash defense and SF offense are all huge question marks. Kobe, Dwight and Pau all look good. But no,one else ...

Great point, plus unless Dwight takes a leap or Kobe finds a hot tub time machine we have no one playing lon that level Heat really needed LeBron to take over. Sure he had help especially last year but I doubt Lakers win it all with this coach/roster combo. It's early but I still expect at least WCF but ceiling is probably a Finals loss.

Ace, Miami had a 14 game win streak, a 9 game and a 8 game win streak before the All Star break. I don't see Lakers even coming close to that. Moreover they had the best player in the league in a 26 yr old Lebron.

Dwight is nowhere near Lebron and every shot Kobe is working to even put up a shot. Now during Phil's tenure, it was never like that. Tbh the only reason the Heat lost to Dallas that year was for some reason, Lebron didn't have the b@lls to take the reigns from Dwayne. I'm glad King James realized his sidekick's abilities, but a year too late.

Looking at Mike Brown at the moment, Lebron may really be the GOAT. Jordan had Phil and Lebron dragged that clown to the NBA finals, lost to Detriot (twice) and Boston (once) in 7. The only knock on Lebron were the 2 series losses to Orl in 6. But when you look at it, even Del Negro will run circles around Mike Brown.

Who would've though that the Clippers would have a better coach than the Lakers? Now when was the last time that happened?

1992-93, when the CLippers where coached by Larry Brown

DOnt get me wrong, Randy Pfunf was a good young coach, but this is Larry Brown we are talking about

Man, Larry Brown is freaking overrated. Burned way too many bridges. Atleast Pop will religiously and openly kiss Duncan's behind for the rest of his life. Larry Brown on the other hand was talking to Cleveland opening position during the 2005 NBA finals. Now that was his low point. He maybe a good a teacher, but he's not a very good coach for the long run.

You can't compare Miami with this team, IMO, even the 1st season. Lebron was still learning and Wade had plenty left in the tank.

Tbh, Larry Brown is the Marty Schottenheimer of the NBA.... really good at turning franchises around and making them compe ive, but don't expect any rings... only reason Brown has an LOBT is because he coached for 100 years, tbh...

You should start a Spurs thread and tell us how you really feel, tbh... reeks of deflection, seeing everybody agrees the Spurs aren't going anywhere...

and lol @ slow start... 0-3, 0-4 is a slow start.... 0-10 is flat out embarrassing, tbh... but tell me more about the Spurs so you don't have to talk about the Lakeshow, crofl
