All-Defensive Team: Kawhi Leonard?

Do you all think he can make it? He's avging around 5 steals per game and his on ball defense is pretty good. He probably can't get 1st team because LeBron is an automatic lock but will he be popular enough for 2nd or 3rd?

Averages don't mean much two games into the season but I'm really liking how he is clogging passing lanes thus far. I'd like him to make it but the truth is that he probably won't get enough recognition.

I think it hinges on how well the team-defense is. Players like Luol Deng, Josh Smith, Iggy, and Tony Allen get more recognition for their defense because their team's defense was very good.

thats because of dominant blocking numbers
if he averages around 2.5 steals a game get an all defensive nod
otherwise hes not a very good defender honestly
hes good in post up situations but working around screens he gets caught often
and most dominant scorers are either point guards or guys who use screens to get to the basket
