Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. You think by now an announcer would throw Pop a curve ball an ask him to correlate an offensive play with the Boxer rebellion of the early 1900s or some other nonsensical gibberish.
    exactly.

aldridge looked nervous the moment the camera started recording.

you can tell he did not want anything to do with interviewing pop.

he let his nerves get the best of him and asked pop a dumb question.

So what's new? Maybe the sideline guys who go to interview him should be smarter with their questions...

Its to be expected. I'm sure the producers let Pop know before hand that he is more than welcomed to tear some sideline reporter ass during interviews. Good for ratings, tbh.

Pop is always a to the reporters unless they are former NBA players or Coaches...I kinda felt bad for the guy though cause he isn't a like some of the other reporters.

It's Pop's schtick with the press now. Me? I'd rather a smartass than a robot or whiner.

I know we're all used to Pop being Pop with sideline reporters but that was a little too much tbh. Doesn't matter if it was a stupid question or not, Pop crossed the line (even if the line was very far out for him).

He can be a in his post-game and practice interviews too, but he's almost always like that during those between quarter interviews. It's hard to blame him. He's got other on his mind and they disturb him because of a contractual obligation with the network.
