Silver's model could have been wrong even if Obama wins. It depends on whether or not any of the places he called for Obama or Romney based on the polls were outside of the margins of what they should have been or all together wrong. Its not about the result but how you get there.

I still suspect that Silver added some artificial padding to protect himself in case Romney pulled a miracle. There's no way I'll believe Romney had a 10% chance based on that advanced of a model.
