I will be at the game. Prepared for a letdown, transition D needs to be near-perfect, tbh. (as it should be all season, but tomorrow especially)

depends what we see off the bench: the 3 stooges, or the Iron Curtain

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin reportedly has a ruptured bursa sac in his right elbow, but the ailment won't keep him out of action. According to the Orange County Register, Griffin said the problem has occurred in the past, but "never this bad."

Not worried, tbh, Clips have forgotten how to play D (allowing 114 points to the Warriors and 108 points to the Cavs). Jamal Crawford is due to get cold, tbh

Tony vs CP3 should be fun to watch, and hopefully TD can erase a few Blake highlight dunks with some old man tip toe blocks.

Biggest game of season so far imo (Sorry, but Chokelahoma is not as impressive to me as last year). Spurs will be put to the test tomorrow night. Going to be a very tough game. Hopefully Diaw and Duncan get the memo to just stay in front of their men and let the rim do the rest.

Going to be a close game. Not more than 50-55% confident of a win tbh due to Manu's health.

The key to the game is preventing Jamal Crawford from scoring and taking off pressure from Chris Paul to create.

Judging by that beatdown the clips administered to the lakers-this will be a tough one to win. Hope I am wrong but the clips look pretty damn good and as deep if not deeper than a deep spurs team.

They're coasting on an amazing offense and a so-so D.

When did the turd towers become the three stooges? Neal doesn't deserve to be grouped with the turd towers tbh, no way, guy is a baller and belongs with Manu and Jax.

I could see myself actually putting money on the team if he joined, he would complete the roaster so well and fix our last obvious flaw. Second unit would be : Splitter, Kmart, Sjax, Manu, Neal.

Besides Kmart could play with Tim when we'd need it : Tim, Kmart, Jax, KY, TP together, how good could we feel about getting a stop... I know we won't get him so I know it's pointless to even talk about it.

Why would anyone be worried about the Clippers, a team the Spurs swept out of the playoffs in one of the most lopsided playoff series ever? This happened about 6 months ago, and neither team has changed much. The only logical conclusion is that the Spurs are still the superior team and are expected to win every time they face each other.

Now, it goes without saying that "If X has a huge letdown, then X will lose the game." You can subs ute any team from any place from any time in that sentence and it works. It's based on circular reasoning, because having a letdown by definition predisposes one to losing a contest. So we really don't need to include this in our predictions or analysis. It can be assumed a priori.

Are we talking about the Clippers who have lost back to back to Golden State and Cleveland?

^Landry/Bogut are tougher mofo's than any of the softies on this team, and Waiters went crazy. not to mention Varejao rules.

if the Spurs lay an egg tomorrow mentally then it's a loss for sure.

    Bledsoe
    Matt Barnes
    Lamar Odom
    Grant Hill
    Turiaf

not a bad bench-and they were playing some really active D against the lakeshow

    The starters were

    Chris Paul
    Willie Green
    Caron Butler
    Blake Griffin
    Deandre Jordan

    Deep

What? Grant Hill hasn't played a minute for them yet. Barnes and Odom are shooting a combined 27% and Turiaf hasn't scored a FG yet this season and has 1 rebound in 3 games.

Even if Spurs swept them in the last playoffs, there were a big negative in that series: their bench destroyed Spurs' bench. The biggest issue is that Spurs perimeter players (Neal, Ginobili and Jackson) were too slow against the quick Clippers perimeter players. I'm interested to see if they will be able to correct that today. This game will especially be a big test for Neal to determine if he can be the backup PG or if Spurs had to go with someone else (Mills, De Colo or Joseph).

Think this could be a great game to give CoJo a chance to earn back up PG minutes, playing against Bledsoe. If he can prove he could contain quick reserve guards who usually kill the Spurs and get out of Manu's way offensively, then he'd provide a very valuable option.

I know Grant Hill didn't play but I was responding to someone asking why I thought the clips might be as deep as the spurs...
