Considering they were down 10 points and looking pretty horrible, I'll take being down only 6 at half...

    Are you referring to Tony?
I wasn't talking about Tony at all, I was referring to the whole team, but now that you mentioned it, he was pretty ty overall too.

We won't win if Tony has another half like that. If he wants to lead the team he needs to step up.

Not too bad down by 6 considering how bad we've been.

spurs not doing too good defensively, clips shooting 50% FG
the spurs have caused a lot of turnovers and the clippers have just been making difficult shots. if the Spurs had not play like such piss juggers on offense they would be up by 4 or 5

Neal better not bring the ball up ONE time in the 2nd half. I'll take Patty over Neal in the 2nd half if that's the case...

    Please take DeAndre Jordan....
I would love nothing more than to take him off your hands. Have you seen the Spurs bigs? Outside of Duncan we have D-league level talent (i.e. Splitter, Bonner, Blair). It's why we can't afford to have Timmy out of the game for more than 4 minutes at a time.

Did you forget about Gary Neal? Mr. 1-9 or 7-9.
lol, Neal doesn't normally have poor shooting games like that if he gets enough shots. Who the have you been watching the last two years?

His first half tonight is a total outlier... in reality, he still looks like a RAW rookie 5 years into his career and he's wildly overpaid...

The Spurs got off to a good start, but every shot where the Spurs extended the lead, I DID NOT ACTUALLY SEE IT (each time, I had looked away for a moment, so I only heard the call). By the time I started watching intently, the Clippers took the lead and have not relinquished it.

My hypothesis is that as long as I am physically watching the live action (going back via DVR doesn't count), the Spurs will not be able to retake the lead, not even for a second. They can TIE the game, but will NOT be able to actually have the lead again in this game.

So far, my hypothesis remains unrefuted. We'll see what happens in the second half.

Patty has looked horrible thus far but yes Pop needs to play him in the 2nd half. Neal was atrocious. However, Neal's offense will always favor him over Patty.

Yes he does. Guy is a 45% shooter, not 55%. No better than Danny Green percentage-wise.

Dude, calm down, they aren't D-league level. Yes, we need an upgrade in the frontcourt, but let's not go too far into the hyperbole.

His first half tonight is a total outlier... in reality, he still looks like a RAW rookie 5 years into his career and he's wildly overpaid...
Listen to this man - he knows of what he speaks.

The Clipper we really want is BLEDSOE.

    Agreed.

Patty will be fine when he calms down, stops pressing and just plays his game. I think he's trying to play pure PG when actually he's a scoring PG.

All things considered, I'll take this score. First five minutes of the third quarter will determine if there's actually a contest or if the Clips will roll.

Gary does not have 1-9 nights. It's that simple. His percentage is low some games where he only takes a few shots, but if Gary takes 10+ his percentage is never a paltry 11% like you're trying to make it out to be. Green on the other hand can have games where he takes 10 shots and misses quite a few of them. Neal isn't as streaky as you're trying to make him out to be.
