    I was expecting a loss tonight but they got whipped throughly.

    Didn"t see the whole game but saw the stats. Duncan with 10 points, just 22 minutes loggeg in and Parker with a sizzling 4 point game.

    Despite sweeping them last year, I don't like how the Spurs match up with the Clips. Spurs have severe trouble with quick, undersized shooting guards and point guards, which is like half of the Clippers team. No surprise Willie Green had his best game of the season tonight.

    The Spurs love to give up jump shots to protect the paint and the arc. The problem is when opposing teams love those shots (see: OKC last season).

    Ah...really? Maybe my viewing of his games has been too limited or the games I have seen he played over his head I guess. I've seen him be fairly unstoppable in the paint at times. Granted, his only offensive game is a dunk, but 2 points is 2 points.

    spurs always struggle against monkeyball which's not even news. they lost to OKC in WCF last season but it doesn't mean they were not as good as OKC. its just matchup problems that make some teams vulnerable to certain teams imho, just like scissors, cloth and stone
