While he spent almost as much as he raised, West still has $3.5 million in the bank, a little more than he came into the quarter with.
Murphy's campaign committee raised $888,000, bringing his campaign total to $3.3 million, or about 20 percent of what West has raised. As of September 30, he had $471,000 on hand.
Dude got beat even though he spent four times more than his opponent.
Almost looks like West was saving for a legal challenge.
